I realized there would be stomach pain with a tummy tuck but why am I experiencing such bad back pain? I was given Valium to help for muscle spasms and that doesn't seem to do anything. I have stopped taking Percocet since I am at the 2 + week mark so Ibuprofen was suggested and that does nothing. I only receive temporary relief from bending over in the shower and allowing the hot shower water to massage the back area. I am still wearing the surgical binder.
My Dr gave me Tylenol 3 with codeine 30mg not lasting full time, regular Tylenol I been using as alternate same things, the only thing that last on me is ibuprofen. When can I start taking thst again? Had surgery sat morn n it's tues nite.
In my 20s I had migraines. 3 yrs ago, last yr of RN school & giving birth, I started to get HA. School is over, I work & I still get HA. Neuro said no caffeine-coffee & tea,I don't drink sodas. Nights RN. CT done a few mos ago-normal, no MRI. I have HA 2-3x a wk no known origin. I let it run its course & keep up with fluids. 800mg of Ibuprofen PRN. I was told to stop any aspirin or NSAIDs 2wks prior to my surgery, can I take a acetaminophen?
My head feels funny like am in a fog. Am taking oxcycodone n ibuprofen. I feel dizzy n light headed. Lost apperire. A little upset stomach. The pain is bearable on a case of 1 to 10.10 being real bad am abt a 3. I called my Surgeon he says to increase my fluids. My head feels spacey. I just hate this feeling. Like am gonna pass out or die. Which has I creased my anxiety. Is this normal.
I had a tummy tuck with lipo on the flanks 5 weeks ago. I'm doing really well, standing straight and almost back to normal activities. I only take 600mg Ibuprofen twice a day. My PS says everything is healing fine but when will I not be so very sore in all the areas that had surgery? Is there anything I can do to speed up the recovery? I'm still a little swollen too but I guess that's normal. I can't stand anything around my waist.
