I'm 60 years old. Had a heart attack 18 months ago and have a stent. I'm feeling fine. I'm within 20 lbs of my ideal weight. I exercise regularly and no longer smoke. I suspect the smoking was a major factor in my unexpected heart attack along with stress from my job. Do you require clearance from my cardiologist before scheduling this type of procedure?
I'm feeling bummed. The pain was terrible and now its mostly discomfort and tightness of course. My pulse rate has never come down from 120 since I left the hospital on day two. It was 150 post-op, and I got beta blockers. Blood pressure 140/97. Is that because of the pain? Dr. seems OK with it. Have a headache right now I'm just feeling really hopeless and depressed. Pretty mobile. Diarrhea has been every day and all day leaving me dehydrated. Any suggestions?
I am a 25 year old married mother of five beautiful children. My children were all around 10 pounds at birth and left me with very droopy skin under my belly button. I am considering a tummy tuck. The only problem is that I have a history of Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation and SVTs. I also have hypothyroidism which is managed with hormone replacement. The A-Fib/SVTs happen a few times a year, but its more of the heart palpitations that I deal with. My cardiologist told me they are not deadly to me. I'm just wondering if this could create a complication during surgery?
I'm taking oxycodone and another medication for muscle spasms along with antibiotics, Bromelain and Arnica. Not all at once just when I'm supposed to. Is the elevated heart rate just from the medications and surgery or is this a concern?
I am home now on recovery from a TT taking oxycodone for pain management but I find myself hearing my heartbeat through my left ear. I read the pamphlet in meds and I don't see anything about it is this a bad sign? Just wondering if this is normal or if I need to call my dr. On Monday any help would be great thank you.
I have a leaking heart valve and have been told by my GP that it is not serious. I want to have a tummy tuck and this obviously involves going under a general anesthetic. Would my condition stop me from being able to have a tummy tuck??
