TT surgery over 2 mos ago. Would the TT surgery cause something un-detected to appear? Why do I have brain fog and anxiety all the time now? About 12 days after surgery I starting getting nauseous and dizzy. 20 days after surgery I ended up in the ER due to fatigue and dehydration. EKG, xrays, CT with dye, blood work etc were done. All normal. Im still dizzy and nauseated and cant focus. I have no motivation to do anything. Why would this start after my TT.?
I'm exactly 2 wks post op, I feel tired and seem to feel the nees to nap. I want to go back to normal. I started to clean up the kitchen and started cooking again but i get tired fairly quickly. Is this normal? I'm only taking one pain med at night other than that I'm off pain pills. Mh back is alsl stinging probably from being huntch over but I'm standing alot more straight than last week. So is fatigue normal? when should i completely stop pain meds?
I'm almost 3 weeks post TT and this past week I went back to work (I sit all day at my job and there is minimal physical activity). However I have 3 small kids and when I try to help (don't worry I don't pick up my kids yet) I can still only do so much before I get fatigued still. I take breaks and lay down to rest. But my husband is burning out. When am I going to be back to normal?
I had a full extnded tt/panni (horizontal and vertical incision), wk 2 post op was re-hospitalized due to infection and low blood. bad case of staph (cellulitis) on my low rt quadrnt. given blood, iron and IV antibiotics- ALOT. Wk3 post op infection better but still aspirating fluid. hospitalized again. IV ANTIbiotics and surgery to re open clean it out. Doc says fatigue will decrease by 12 wkspost tt and at wk10 still tired! Depressed (seen my psych and upped my meds) and up 10 pounds.
I am 4 weeks post op TT tomorrow. I have been experiencing increased exhaustion daily. I just want to take several naps throughout the day. When I wake up, I'm not really rested and not motivated to do any kind of activity. I was very active on weeks 2-3. I don't understand why it all of sudden has gotten worse. I feel similar to day 5-10. I'm completely off pain pills, I do still have some pain and aches, manageable though. Swelling has increased somewhat also, what do I need to do?
I am planning to get a TT and BA in the near future. I would like to know why so many women say that they are tired weeks post op? Is it from medication, limited ability to move around, pain? I am going to have 24/7 help for the first two weeks after surgery. Is this going to turn into weeks? YIKES :) ps. I am a Mom of 3, in my 30's, healthy, and SO excited to get this done!
