Hello. I had a tummy tuck with muscle and hernia repair eight months ago. Would a laparoscopic salpingectomy affect the results? I am very happy with my results and don't want to have anything loosen at all. Considering this surgery because of a strong family history of ovarian cancer. I didn't know just tube removal reduced the risk so much or I would have done this prior to the TT! Ty!
Hello I am 25 years old, I got diagnosed with Chronic Myloid Leukemia at 22 years old, I have been in remission for almost 2 years , I currently take Sprycel for the cancer still but my oncologist told me once I hit the 2 year mark I could start to come off of the oral chemo. My question is, am I able to get a tummy tuck or bbl once I come off the oral chemo ? Because I know certain plastic surgeons dont want to go near leukemia patients because it has to do with the blood.
A 70 yo male who will be treated by radiation (photon vs proton) is also considering an abdominoplasty following weight loss. Abdominoplasty would be elective while radiation therapy would not. Should the abdominoplasty not be conducted given planning for radiation? Should one or the other procedure be conducted before the other? Which type of radiation (photon vs proton) would be more conducive to a successful abdominoplasty? Thanks
I was diagnosed with myeloma. I had chemotherapy in 2013 & 2015. I have not had any more problems since (other than I gained so much weight during the illness) I am seeking to have TT, BBL, and 360 Lipo. I cannot find any cases of survivors having plastic surgery other than mastectomy. Is plastic surgery not an option for me? I have survived the worst of everything and was stripped of the opportunity to have kids due to the myeloma treatment at 35. I am healthy & all of my labs are normal now.
Surgery 6 years ago for cancer removal. I have a scar that goes from lower sternum to pubis. It causes what I call a sass (ass on my stomach) I also have developed a small overhang. No matter how much weight I lose or sit-ups I do, it does not go away. Im done trying to work it off. I am 50 and have decided it is what it is. I work as a nurse and very active. I just dont want to wear my pants above or below the pouch and maybe...a bikini?
I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at 20 years old. I had to have major abdominal surgery 13 years ago to remove 12cm tumor. Since then I've had 2 kids and my last baby was two years. Since then I've had constant pain on the sides of stomach and lower back. When I lean back I get these bulges on both sides of my stomach. What could be causing it and if there is any type of plastic surgery that could fix it. I would love a nice flat tummy. I haven't had one since I was 20 years old : ( Thanks
