During a consultation I have been told by a surgeon that I qualify for a full Tummy Tuck with a shorter scar. So more extensive than a mini Tummy Tuck where my belly button would be redone because loose skin be pulled from the top down but with a smaller incision than a usual TT. My fear is this may not remove all the loose skin I want and leave me with uneven bulges if the hip area loose skin is not taken along with fat removal if required? Im 49kg and 5ft 1 are my fears correct?
I have a bulge above my scar and dog ears but surgeon said it was normal and I just need to exercise. He said he couldn't do lipo on my hips as this is a different procedure and would have to come back if I want it done.
I'm contemplating a tummy tuck, I've had 2 c-sections and also surgery to remove a part of uterine tissue that was stitched in my c-section scar that would inflame during my monthly due to my endometriosis. It's all fixed now. I'm concerned if it's possible to get my previous scar lowered and flatten out my midsection and under boob flab. My groin region is flat then when it hits my scar it starts bulging all over the place. Underwear doesn't sit nicely without having an unflattering bulge.
I had a tummy tuck approx 6 months ago. My upper abdomen is perfect, but right underneath my belly button on the right side, there is a bulge. I have no idea what this is from. I went to get a second opinion in the US, since I had my surgery in another country and the surgeon said that could sometimes happen and maybe my muscles are weak. I had a full tuck and I am very thin. He said since I am pretty small, it is just easier to see any imperfections. That doesn't sound right to me. What could it possibly be? Also, my tummy below my navel is not as flat as I thought it would be, when I sit down and after a meal, it sometimes look like it did, pre-tummy tuck.
I had a Tummy Tuck 7 months ago. When I lay down, my stomach is flat. However, when I stand up, I have 4 bulges on either side of the fluer de-lis incision. 2 right below the ribcage and 2 more on either side of the belly button (The top is about the size of a racketball and the bottom is almost the size of baseballs.) My PS keeps saying I am just getting fat again. However, I have had these since surgery. They where there when they pulled my drains out at 1 week PO.
I am 9 months post op from a Fleur-de-Lis Abdominoplasty. A few months ago, I have started to have a bulge on my upper abdomen. The picture of the flatter tummy was taken 3 months post op, the other one was taken recently. I was wondering what is the most likely cause and if there is something I can do better about it. My weight is the same as when the first picture was taken.
Hi, I had a tummy tuck two years ago but. I still have a lower abdomen bulge and when I am standing up you can see it, when I am laying down my stomach looks super flat, I had lipo 360 9 months ago to see if that would resolve the issue but, no luck.
I had a full abdominoplasty 2 years ago and developed a seroma below my belly button. After having my drain for 3 weeks, it had to removed as it was falling out. I had the area aspirated about 5 times total with a steroid injected into the cavity twice. The area went flat for about 4 mths until it came back. Now about 2wks ago, went and got the capsule excised with a drain. Fluid was very low after 2wks so drain came out. Now bulge is back. Doing massage and compression. Help?!
Age 56, healthy female, 16 months post-up tummy tuck procedure. Experiencing pouching below belly button that was not there prior. It is firm and not squishy like fat. Trying to determine the underlying cause to have it addressed. Surgeon said it is fat. Recd 48 injections mesotherapy which did very little. Can't find a doctor that will weigh in to provide a clue as to what has caused this or recommend how to solve it. I look worse than before.....
In September 2020 I had a tummy tuck and waited for the swelling to go down. The doc did drain the swelling a couple of times and then there was nothing left to drain. But I had what looked like a pool noodle around my waist. I hated it and it took its toll on my confidence. April of 2021 I had a revision and still have a bulge above my scar that looks like I'm bloated and I can pinch it like it's fat. I have not gained weight and am very active. Help, how do I get rid of it?!
