I now that my boyfriend I don't have any patience and so emotional I like cry at the drop of a dying I don't know what's going on and I don't know if they see normal
Is there recommended treatment to reduce pain and swelling in the pubic area after tummy tuck. I'm 3 days post op. Not feeling too bad other than in this area. Had breast. Drains removed today but in my nervousness forgot to mention the pain and swollen pubic area. See my surgeon again in 3 days to take out tummy drains.
I had the full tummy tuck w/ muscle repair and lipo on upper hips. My pain has been tolerable since day 1 post op and it's day 3 and I am hardly on any pain meds. My drain seems to be leaking less? Am I on the road to recovery or does this seem like it's too early? On a side note, I've been laughing lately and have been trying hard not to (how do I know if i ripped anything inside? like the muscle repair? If that makes any sense?
I had a tummy tuck with liposuction on Friday and currently have two drains with one being in the incision itself. I was told to strip the drains in case something was blocking it and I have been doing that. No matter what I do, it still leaks around and out and makes a bit of a mess. The other one hasn't given any problems. Is this something I should be concerned about?
Can I buy another garment that fits better than the one they sent me home in on day two? This one is impossible to get in without help and is squeezing me so hard it hurts
I'm 3 days out from a full TT, and have noticed the last two times I've gone to the toilet that there has been a drop of blood on the right side of the seat after I get up. This is the side with my drain. My next follow up appointment is on Tuesday. I've noticed some staining on that side of the bandaging/garment. It doesn't hurt any more than the rest of it. I haven't had a lot of drainage after the first day, so if it does come loose, how bad is that? (I know the picture doesn't tell you much)
