I had a one stitch facelift three years ago to address mild jowls and the mid face. It worked very well. I am now 55 years old and have been told by a very experienced plastic surgeon that I'm not ready for full facelift. In the interim I looked at thread lifting. I was told by a doctor who specialises in them that thread lifts are not recommended for people who have had surgery as it can cause nerve damage. She said the same was true for the endolift treatment. Is this true?
Im a 60 year old female, with fair type skin. 3 months ago I had PDO Barb threading brow lift and after 5 days I noticed a small flat raised nodule on my right temple which I was told could be scar tissue from a procedure I had in March called surgical outer brow lift. On the left side in between the 2 barbs I developed a strange triangle shaped lump that feels firm. I was told to massage and use heat but noticed it still seems to be visible. They dont know what it is either.
Hello I'm a petite 60 yo woman that's lost a lot of weight. I was wondering if threadlifts could be used on my arms since I'm not very big? Also can threadlifts be used above the knees to help with crepey loose skin. I feel so uncomfortable wearing dresses, shorts or short sleeve blouses. I'm in pretty good shape except for my arms and legs. Thank you.
Im 58 yrs old, just went to get a PDO lift and the girl said Im not a candidate because my skin is too thin and you may see the threads. She didnt think the threads would hold at my jaw line and I might be able to see them. Keep in mind she is PDO certified NOT an MD.
I had PDO threads, #4 strength. On the right sideI have 3 bumps. I have one similar on the left. Will they become less of a bump, or do I need some type of second procedure, is this normal? I have thin skin, low 60's. Any advice please.
