I followed a whitening treatment with opalescence 16% for 12 days. During this period I stopped drinking coffee, wine, cola and tea. on the other hand, I drank hot chocolate a couple of times, beer and ate chocolate. Is it possible that this may have affected my final results? I still have yellow spots on my teeth and I don't smoke. I used 4 seringes. Is the white diet really a must during a 2 weeks whitening treatment? Thank you.
I'm using 15% strength Opalescence. I'm afraid they're going to whiten and irritate my gums. They extend well past my teeth and I'm just realizing this now and am pretty upset I paid 200$ for incorrect fitting trays.
I got my braces off, had a cleaning and started the home teeth bleaching kit. I used the Venus 35 (3 tubes) and Opalescence 35 (4 tubes) over a 14 day period, wearing the trays for 30 minutes per day. I noticed my teeth did get somewhat whiter but the top of my bottom teeth are really translucent/transparent! And the bottom of my top teeth too. Did I over bleach? Will this cause my teeth to decay and fall out due to enamel loss? What can I do to make it less transparent?
About 6 years ago I had major dental work done from a great Cosmetic Dentist. I spent over $12,000. I haven't used the trays in 3 years or so. I went and picked up the Opalescence started using it today. It's different from what I used before. It's so thick it's hard for me to judge how much to put in my trays. It's hard to believe I used that much. What am I doing wrong? Can't afford it if it goes this quick. Thanks
I currently have my custom trays and am looking for refill gel. I leaned about Opalescence Boost. Can this be purchased by the home consumer or is it just used and applied at a dentist? If it can be used by a home consumer, is it safe (and not overly powerful to apply at home) as with all the other Opalescense products 10, 20, 35% etc.? What is the difference between this and the 10, 20, 35% products they also make? Thank you!
