Hi, Next month I will have my first 12,5% TCA treatment. What about the pre-treatment with exfoliating and glycolic cream? Does it make the peeling safer or just more dangerous? Will the exfoliating and glycolic cream the skin more or less prone to burnings and hyperpigmentation? Thanx
I plan to have my second application of a 15%TCA+3% Glycolic Acid chemical peel in about a month, with my dermatologist. Im currently trying to conceive. The appointment date falls around the date of my expected period (or no show period, depending). Is this peel safe while in the process of trying to get pregnant?
I got a light TCA peel one week ago, and the peeling has more or less stopped. I heard that using 10% glycolic acid pads after peeling has stopped can be beneficial - is it safe to do this now? Also, is it safe to get my face threaded now? Thank you.
Six days ago I had a 20% TCA peel. However, I stupidly did not disclose that I had received a glycolic peel peel a week prior (I really wanted results, fast). I had been using retin a in perpetration also. All the skin has peeled off on my face and left two, bright red patches under my eyes that I think are becoming slightly raised. Am I in the process of becoming permanently scarred? I am very concerned. I have prescription cortisone and also silicone gel. What can I do?! Thank you!
I have a Glycolic Acid clear solution. I would like to know what percentage I should use, how many weeks should I use it prior to the peel, and how many times per week I should apply it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have had successful TCA peels in the past, but I have heard that a pre treatment would be beneficial.
