some time ago I applied a very high percent TCA on my upper lip because I was (still) suffering from Frodyce Spots, what has happened now (this has been a year now) is that my upper lip color has diminished. Is there a ointment to bring back the color? It used to be as red as my lower lip
I have severe discoloration and dark spots/scars on my inner thighs and panty line that have developed over time from shaving and chaffing.Ingrown hairs would form and leave unsightly scars.I am a medium skinned person which makes the dark spots and scars more noticeable. Its extremely embarrassing for me.Ive tried different drugstore creams that have slightly lightened the area but did nothing to the dark spots.I dont think a cream would help years of damage,I want to try something stronger.
I put TCA on Q-tip and placed it on the mole, it spread into a larger circle (as you can see in picture) the area frosted and burned some, I left it on for about 2 to 3 minutes I apply neutralizer to stop the spreading. The skin looks like this, it's not flaking or dry at all and feels like normal skin. will this go away?? the directions I read to remove mole say to repeat everyday until mole comes off, but should I stop?
Today is Day 26 post 40% TCA peel, I'm afraid that my skin is damage and need help or advice on how I can correct this terrible mistake. I'm not sure if I'm experiencing hyper pigmentation or hypo pigmentation because of the discoloration. Will the scaring stay?
my wife has tried wartner gel pen for application to two warts one on neck and one on face but didn't know it was very powerful, some has spread to the surrounding area of skin and caused brown discoloration. not sure of the conc of the acid (TCA) but worried about damage to her skin. i am concerned they are selling such potent acid freely. can she put some baking soda solution on it temporarily or hydrocortisone cream? will the skin recover as she has only put a small single amount? thx
I had a tca cross session 3 days ago but aside from the scabs my skin where the anesthetic cream was applied is still red. I'm worried that this will be permanent. This is my second tca session and the first time was not like this at all. The only difference is that the anesthesia was left maybe 30-45 minutes longer before the doctor started putting the acid. He recommended betnovate cream but it's causing my skin to peel which according to some should not happen when you have TCA. Any advice?
Can TCA peel help smooth my keloid scar out and remove the discoloration? I has a belly peircing and it got infected. It left a keloid scar with a slight discoloration. It doesn't have to be completely removed; I just wanted it flatter and smoother without any discoloration.
Hello I did a chemical peel with only touch peeling awhile back and followed the doctors advice. All was good but i feel an area which was treated has slightly thicker skin now & darker - is this normal? Also, some other areas look a little pinkish but am i right in thinking that is normal? Thank you for your advice
