Ive had a session done before and can not recall if this happened or not. But, last week (7 days ago) I had my hands lasered. I kept them bandaged for about 3 days, taking them off to breath a bit during the day but mostly keeping them bandage with aquafor. The swelling started the following day, and went away mostly in 3ish days. I took the bandage off and sleeped without it from that point forward. Now, it swelled up again today and Im getting worried. My blisters are minimal.
I received the treatment on Monday. Went back Wednesday to get the blisters lanced and have continued to change out and wear bandages with antibiotic and gauze until today, Sunday. My Dr. told me to keep it bandaged, covered and continue using a compressor sock until it has healed. Nothing has scabbed over - and I wonder if that is because I am keeping everything covered and moist. I also don't want to risk infection because the blister skin is very thin.
Got First Session, put bandage over it, told me to cover it only for 2 days (and Not to put water and heat), After 2 days, remove the bandage and put Vaseline for a week. Is this a proper care after laser treatment on tattoo removal? Any other Good Care If you could suggest?
May I use plastic wrap and Neosporin to protect it during the first few sensitive days? The morning after my first treatment, the bandage was stuck to me and no amount of soaking would loosen it. Sheets of my skin came off with the bandage. It was excruciating! I never want that to happen again. Also would oral antibiotics be a good idea to prevent the possibility of infection?
I had a Picosure laser treatment on my tattoo 3 days ago. As instructed by the laser technician, I have been using a non-adherent dressing pad and wrapping it with bandage dressing (there is quite a bit of drainage that the pad is helping to absorb). As you can see from the picture, I had quite a reaction to the bandage pad! I'm wondering if this looks like a latex allergy (the pads do contain latex) and what I can do to make it go away?
