Brown spots

Brown spots on exposed areas of the skin are the result of sun damage. Brown spots may respond to home treatment products: bleaching agents like hydroquinone can stop pigment production so long as they are being applied. Recent health concerns about repeated hydroquinone exposure suggest that the best path to treating brown spots may be a professional skin treatment. Most dermatologists use lasers and IPL to remove brown spots.
