Not Worth It
Spent: $400 in Pasadena, CA
I already wrote up my restylane experience (good!), but prior to restylane I had many years of good Botox experiences. As others have said, it works great on furrows and wrinkle lines. I'm aware of the potential for droopy face after a Botox injection, but I don't know anyone who has had this problem. I bet it's really rare. I'm going to rate Botox, not worth it simply because I found something better (restylane). Restylane lasts much longer and I'm more comfortable with what's in the injection vs. Botox. But if you decide to go with Botox, I think you'll be happy with the results.

Botox gets lots of attention for facial lines, but it should also be given credit for helping people--like me--that have excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) I've had persperation problem with my armpits and hands ever since I was a teen {very embarassing}. I was fortunate to enter a clinical trial that used Botox injections to treat the sweating problem. It really worked well and is just one more example that this drug does much more than help people look younger.

I too use restalyne and I love it. I have done it once a year for 4 years. I am now having it around my chin and under the eyes and I love the look. Botox is not for me, I don't lik ethe paralyzed feeling in my forehead.
