IPL was NOT worth it: Ipl seemed like a waste of money

When I went for my botox I asked for something more aggressive to keep the aging to the minimum--do it gracefully. My derm recommended IPL.

I spent probably $800 on IPL and I don't think it did anything for my little wrinkles and crows feet around my eyes and mannequine mouth. My dermatologist recommended this, not thermage because my face is too thin. I have lots of lines, but my face has too little fat tissue. Thermage also tightens, so it wasn't really not right for me.

If you do get it, it does not hurt too much and no recovery time is required. But again, I don't think it works. No pain, no gain.
