I have a keloid on my shoulder that I went to a dermatologist to get kenalog injections as well as using silicone scar sheets. This is the result after using the scar sheets every day. The keloid is softer, still itchy and sunken. But I am wondering what other treatments can I do for the whiteness to start fading away and decrease in size. Thank you.
Is there anyway to reverse skin atrophy from a kenalog/cortisone injection? I had it injected into my pimple and now I have a huge divot in between my eyebrows that wont go away. Its causing me a lot of distress and making me feel like I dont even want to go out. My Dermatolgist has injected saline 2x and I see no improvements at all if anything its getting worse. I need some help please?!
Im 18 months post op on a tummy tuck with T incision. The T is what I believe is my old belly button. This tissue is more inflammatory and responds differently to treatments than the surrounding skin and scar. An aesthetician recommended diluted kenalog injections with a conservative approach. Also recommended CO2 laser. Im wondering if excising the vertical strip of the T incision wouldnt ultimately be best for healing. appreciate any and all input!

2 mos ago I went to a medspa for DPNs removal, they used a laser which burned my cheek. They went beyond the superficial part of my skin. I developed a scar, looks like hypertrophic & really dark. 3 wks ago I went to a dermatologist, she did a kenalog inj to my scar. It developed slight skin atrophy, the scar now looks a little sunken, still dark & the texture is quite shiny. I've been applying biocorneum since week 1. I've been advised to start triluma and eventually do microneedling. I'm Asian
I had a surgery on my skull 2 years ago. The surgery left a 1.5 inch liners scar, that has healed really nicely. However, under the scar is a thick bump of scar tissue that is raised. We did 3 shots of intralesional kenalog spaced 1 month apart but didnt see any significant results. Is there anything else that can be done to reduce the scar tissue? The location is on the back of my head and not easily massaged, so that is likely not an option.
i had a keloid on my chest it all started as an acne last 2013,i have it examined to a dermatologist and she gave me a kenalog injection for 6 mos. as a medication i have to do it once in every 2 weeks, the medication went well the keloid becomes smaller.but after 6 mos session and i stopped the injections the scar becomes even bigger.
Hi, I have raised acne scars on my cheek and nose. I am currently having Kenalog 40, thus far three sessions and no results. I was wondering if continuing this treatment would cause any thinning of the skin? Also can I still use Tretinoin since the cause from what I know of pebblestone scars is from producing too much collagen? Thanks
Three weeks ago I had an injury that required stitches to my upper lip . The tissue under the lip has healed forming a lump of about 1 cm diameter and a fibroma of a few mm. How soon i can have kenalog injected to flatten the lump?
