Been apx a year since a surgeon (to shave my chin bone intraorally) infected me with MRSA. Done 5 fraxel treatments & microneedling with PRP once & ultherapy. Im thinking this is the end scar even after all that. Very sad as it affects my work on camera. It can look bigger depending on the light. Anything else to be done? When I wear a thick silicone patch overnight it looks better for a few hours since it pulls the indented part up. But is that making it worse over all?
I was born with a normal, smooth chin. About ten years ago, I had a MRSA infection that needed to be cut out of my skin. This left me with a very obvious, deep scar on my chin. It is so deep, it gives me the look of having a butt chin or cleft chin. I am having difficulty in knowing where to begin on my search of finding a procedure and a surgeon who can help. Someone who specializes in facial surgery? Someone who specializes in scar revision? I haven't seen this type of scar anywhere else.
I have had this scar for a little over a year. Dermatologist said it was caused by mrsa or staph. I have tried silicone gel and retinol cream. I am soon going to consider seeing a professional as I am self-conscious about it.
They literally came out of no where, I have attached pictures below of my legs I need to know how I can diminish these scars or completely get rid of them via some type of pill, cream, laser or surgery... they are repulsive I am only 28 years old... please please help!
I've had issues with MRSA, staph and boils over the past 3 years and they have finally gone after almost 3 yrs. I wake up, come home from work, and one before I go to bed. I use a tea tree body wash all over my body then as soon as I get out of the shower I put coconut oil all over my body aswell everytime I shower. I honestly don't want to spend like a fortune to get it off I just would love more advice at to getting rid of the scarring with anything else please!
I go in 6 weeks post-op because I have an infection. He told me about our dirt and it contains staph and it could be from dogs or animals at home. I wish I would have known this before surgery considering my profession is dog/animal grooming. Which I also made him aware of at the time of consultation. Makes since but the scar I had was actually from MRSA which I informed him offs well. So of course my biggest concern was getting an infection in a scar I paid to fix.
