I had a rhinoplasty 4.5 months ago. I overall feel like the result is ok. I dont hate it, however, I feel like it is a bit too short now. I feel like the Dr. left my nose bridge way too narrow, and the tip of my nose doesnt balance well with it. I think he broke too much bone off. The other day a person commented on my nose, and said that it looked a bit too small for me. :( Will it balance out over time? should I consider filler for my bridge, once I am 12 months post op?
Not by derotating it, by actually lengthening it from the base, lowering the subnasale and shortening the philtrum in the process. My nose is too small for my face and it completely ruins my facial harmony, giving me a long philtrum and making my lower third look too big. Lip lift is not an option since i already have full lips and adequate tooth show, plus it wouldn't fix the other issues anyway. Does that kind of procedure exist?
My nose is very indented on the sides and very pinched and overall very small, if i put pieces of cotton pads in my nose (see the last picture) my nose looks way better, what kind of grafts will i need to make it like that?
Im 23, never had a rhinoplasty; my nose is pretty small but the hump really bothers me, my question is: is it possible to have a rhinoplasty in wich the hump is removed even if its a little mm difference? And is it possible to mantain the overall shape of my nose? Id also like to lift the tip a little bit, but without changing too much; was wondering if its possible to have this kind of microshaping works done in a rhinoplasty thank you in advance!
Ive always disliked my nose, especially in pictures. The nose itself isnt typically big however it just stands out in my face - especially in photos. I have a slight bump and the tip is fairly bulbous. Ive had liquid/filler rhinoplasties which have improved the appearance however the results are only temporary. The first doctor said my nose would be too small for a surgical rhinoplasty and it would carry too much risk. Is he right?
Had rhinoplasty 10 months ago. Generally pleased with the result, but feel I am generally looking in the mirror too much and this whole process has messed a little bit with me mentally. Is my nose too small? Also any advice to enjoy life and stop looking at my nose 24/7.
I just got before and after photos from the operating room for my rhinoplasty. It seems the doctor was overly aggressive and has made my nose too small and feminine (I'm male). I had asked for a strong masculine nose: radix depressed, sharper tip, slight deprojection, keep straight bridge. It looks like my radix wasn't touched, bridge made smaller and curved, and tip over-rotated. Will my final nose look like this? Can I make my bridge fuller and lower my tip (e.g. taping, making scar tissue)?
I don't know where should I start from. I'm from India. And I've a mongoloid looks. My nose is too small for my face and cheekbones are too large. I want my face lifted to a V shape permanently or maybe for 10 years or more. Furthermore, I've a protruded gums which makes my lips almost equal in line with my nose tip when looking from the side. My real question is if my appearance will improve if I heighten my nose and lift my face to a V shape?
Splint removed yesterday. I was on oral steroids the week of my surgery and some arnica so it's still swollen but mainly only from the top in-between my eyes. I DIDN'T ask for septo/for my nostrils to be brought in and he did it. Didn't ask for my tip to practically be taken off and upturned, he did it. Now Nostrils are small/crooked. I feel like I look weird and botched. I only asked for my profile bump to be straightened out. So upset and depressed. Am I overreacting or am I right?
wondering if my columella strut graft is not strong enough. after having a botched rhinoplasty ive seen a specialist in order to build my nose back up again. ive had medpor implants, alar base reduction for my ethnic nose, tip cartlidge refinement and columella strut. ive spoken to a doctor from iran who says my strut graft is not long enough and i have a underprojected tip. my current doctor says due to my lip lift my tip cant be turned up. would like opinions as i feel underprojected
