I had a rhinoplasty done and a few weeks later I noticed my eyes getting sunken. It's been a year now and is progressively worse. I included my rhinoplasty post op photos. Top is before, middle is 1 month post op and bottom is 4 months post op. Other photos include some of my eyes currently. No health issues, medications, drug use or weight changes except for possibly gaining a few pounds. Not sure if it's a sinus issue, fat loss issue but my surgeon said it's aging. I don't think that's it.
Ive lost a lot of volume under my eyes since taking accutane 4 years ago. Im considering getting a rhinoplasty, however my concerns are that it might sink in myunder eyes even more. I am also concerned about the fat pads along side my smile Lines, its dragging down my face. Is there a procedure I can have done to correct this along with a rhinoplasty? Thanks!
Hi, Ive always had epicanthus which got better as my face grew but is still prominent. My inner eye corners are not visible, & my nose is wide & flat appearance. my eyes have also sunken some with age which makes it worse. My concern is that my skin is very keloid producing and Im not sure how the scars would heal. As you can see i also have 2 large pock scars from chicken pox over 30 years ago. Any advice please? Thank you! Any other suggestions to add esthetic to my face?
It's one year since I had my surgery and within the last week I am seeing a sudden sagging of skin, and eyes look sunken and tired. This change is drastic. I had a heavy nose which is what was reduced due to the rhinoplasty but this sudden change on the structure of my face is very disturbing. Please advise
I developed a perforated septum after a severe bacterial sinus infection. After that, my nose sunk in and my face now has a flat effect. I have never done cocaine or any other drugs. I have been on prednisone for many years for rheumatoid arthritis. Are there any other causes for perforation and any causes for my nose to sink in? I'm assuming it's all related to the septorhinoplasty done in 1974 when I was 24 for broken nose and deviated septum. Will send photos if needed.
I think something is wrong with my nasal bone as I have tried to research it so many times. It's too thick which causes me to have sunken in eyes! I have makeup on but without it they are dark blue ugly circles. My nose is also droopy, big, and just too thick. I have no self confidence because of it. Please help me find out what's wrong with it; I would love to feel confident again...
As you can see my nose is quite of centre with a large bump in the middle this causes my eyes to look sunken And beady would reducing my nose hump and shape fix this or would I require other surgery if so what would you recommend?
Hello I've been wearing glasses since I was 10 years old. The glasses affected the appearance of my face. The nose bridge is depressed and there is some areas of discolouration. Also I have sunken eyes going inside and black colour on the eyelid and the skin around. Is there any way to treat that? I'm 22 years old male. I have hypermetropia and astigmatism in both eyes so whenever I wear the glasses they make my eyes look so big. I drink a lot of water and I don't have any disease.
I had rhinoplasty about a 3 weeks ago and I know it is still WAY too early for all swelling to be gone. On one side of my nose right above the tip, it is beginning to somewhat sink in and is a little more squishy then the other side. When you look at it straight on it looks flat on the side that is sinking and is darker due to the depth of it. I feel like there was something taken out of that side and not the other. I’m wondering if this is normal or it’s something I should be worried about.
