So I went to one of the best rhinoplasty surgeons and despite me not liking my result I still believe this... I believe they took off too much of my tip thinking this is what I wanted as we didn't do any morphs and just spoke. It seems like too much of my tip has been taken away and now cartilage is poking up against the tip causing it to look SHINY and weird. I wanted very natural male masculine nose.
I'm almost 5 months post op and the skin on/around my nose is still super shiny and oily. Will this ever get back to normal? Also how can I tell if my tip is still swollen or just overprojected? If it is just swelling, when it goes down will my nose base (tip/nostril area) get wider?
Hi i had a rhinoplasty 7 years ago which has left me with some notching of the nostrils. I've noticed that the tip is shinier due to the thin skin and it has a bit of a distinct circle shape where the thin skin is. I was wondering whether its likely that the tip will continue to shrink and get even thinner over the years. Also is there anything that can be done to correct this and make the skin on the tip look less shiny.
I had major rhinoplasty 2y ago. While travelling in asia, the humid climate made my nose more stiff/swell. A night of heavy drinking makes it worse and also long periods in sun. It becomes obvious that a nose job is visible. I suspect its due to poor lymphatic drainage but will stiffness of nose reduce after 2 y post surgery and is there massages that can speed long term reduction in nose stiffness/swelling? I feel my nose is still a tiny bit swollen
