had rhinoplasty in july of 2021. this pimple showed up around october and even though the redness will often fade it won't entirely go away. i was on accutane and the pimple did go away fully but the side effects were too tough i couldn't stay on it. had doctors and dermatologist say not to worry about if the pimple is anything more. trying hard to build my self-esteem back up following really tough identity issues post operation with a bit of regret. really would like any help or advice.
I have a rhinoplasty scheduled for two days time and have just had a whitehead form under my nose, just beneath my nostril. Ive just popped it to drain it and have now but antibacterial cream on it. Will this be an issue for my rhinoplasty?
Ive had this pointy bump on the left side of my nose thats gotten more obvious over the years. I am 23. When I turn my head to my left it looks like I have a big bump on my nose. When I turn It to the right my nose looks normal and straight although the little pointy bone still is obvious. When I look straight you can see this bone still. Sometimes it even looks like a pimple on my nose. Is this easily fixable? Im scared of surgery.
Im 3 years post rhinoplasty. I recently developed a pimple right at the inner corner of my nostril, at the columella. This has never happened before and is worrisome as I need the nostrils to be symmetrical. Is it acceptable to use bacitracin that I have left over to treat it or should I be treating it with regular acne products? Please reply
I had a rhinoplasty a year ago. I like the result and I am happy with it. However, 2 small pimple size bumps grew on the right side of my bridge almost 3 months after surgery and they are so painful whenever I touch them or put some make up and rub my cheek or the surrounding area, it causes a very sharp nerve like pain. Any idea what that is and how can I solve the problem?
Hello! I am 9 months post an open rhino to reduce bulbous tip and turbinates. I have had persistent pimples and commodes on the tip of my nose which i have mostly left alone. However, I have been applying some benzyl peroxide topical ointment overnight for 2-3 days and while the size of the pimples has been reducing, the tip of my nose is very red. There is no burning or irritation of the skin, just the reddness. Is it safe to use the ointment or am i damaging my nose? Thank you!
I am a female in early 50's and in the last 5 years the tip of my nose has started to become bulbous and troubled with pimples and excess oil. I was told by a rhinoplasty surgeon that it was a mild case of rhinophyma but- have since heard that a dermatologist may be the better way to go, as they use laser to remove tissue from the nose and can get quite dramatic results this way. Should I see a dermatologist instead, who can help to address the root cause of the problem?
Hi, I'm 13 days post op - rhinoplasty, septoplasty and reduction of turbinates and had my cast removed a week ago - three days ago I developed a rash and tiny pimples literally all over my face, worst being the forehead - it itches slightly and my skin does feel dry in certain areas although I'm so confused - is this a severe acne breakout or some type of allergic reaction and is this possible nearly 2 weeks after surgery ?
So I got a nose job down somewhere in 2010 over a couple of years I noticed a small white bump almost looks like a pimple with a white tip, when I first noticed it I actually thought it was a pimple but it's something else. What could this be? Could it be from the surgery I had years ago? It's hard and sorta pointy. It bothers me knowing it's there.
Hi. Its been 7 months since I got a nosejob, and lately I have been getting white heads and pimples on my nose area. I have found my self squeezing and popping the pimples, i try being gentle but sometimes i do push a bit hard. I've never been in pain while doing so, but now im concerned I might have ruined my new nose. I have gotten an uneven skin tone and patches. Is my nose ruined?
