Hi, Is it normal to feel sick after a turbinate reduction (conchotomy) surgery? Pain, stuffed nose and dripping from the nose. Today, 5 days after the surgery I have a sore and inching throat. My doc said nothing about this and said I would notice improvements with my turbinates within couple of days. I'm using nasal spray with oxymetazolin and steroid spray. I hate this right now!
I have had liquid silicon injections done in the bridge of my nose and lips area about 2 years ago. I had rinoplasty surgery 7 months prior. I was told by the doctor who injected the silicon that everything should be fine. Now my lips look uneven, I have puffy eyes, and worst part is that I feel horrible : nausea, shortness of breath , back pain, constant strong headache, short term memorry loss. Is there any possibilities to remove droplets or some way to help me ?
I'm not taking any pain killers- just Tylenol and I was taking Duricef antibiotic but I stopped after I vomited. Can this also be a combination of anxiety / panic attack?
I was told to take Emend, 40 mg and hour before my nose surgery. I have called 5 different pharmacies and the average cost is $130 for one pill. I am thinking of not taking it. Am I making a big mistake? Are there any cheaper alternatives? What about something more natural such as a ginger supplement?
It's 12 Days After my Rhinoplasty and Two Days Ago I Developed Severe Nausea Which has caused severe vomiting in the last 2 days. I can feel the blood rushing and pressure build up in my nose as soon as I 'have to go'. I'm scared yhis may distort the final outcome of the rhinoplasty. Is this possible?
