I posted before about developing an inverted V, or possible other deformities. I was told the pictures were not good, so I'm reposting with better pictures and hopes of more responses.. I am four years post rhinoplasty septoplasty, wondering if I am developing an inverted V, and if my nose looks worth fixing, or if I am being self critical
I had rhinoplasty 18 months ago. I started noticing diagonal lines on my nose. I sent pics to my surgeon, and they said despite using spreader grafts, it looks like the middle portion thinned out/contracted more than expected, or the bones thickened slightly or didn't move inward as much as expected. I was offered filler. Is it likely to worsen over time, and is filler the best option for my situation?
Im almost 6 months post op from primary rhino. I have thick skin. Theres been a weird shadow appearing on the right side of my nose that has been really bothering me that is very noticeable in certain lightings that makes my bridge look interrupted. My surgeon said once everything heals maybe we could do filler but Im very disappointed and sad. It wasnt there before.
Eight months ago I received primary rhinoplasty for a deviated septum/crooked nose. The surgeon straightened my nose and removed my dorsal hump. When he took off the cast I was very unhappy with what I saw. I had lost almost all definition in my previously well defined tip and something just looked off about my entire nose. Whenever I looked in the mirror all I could see was the tip of the nose sticking out. No bridge definition and no brow-tip aesthetic line. Do I Have an Inverted-V Deformity?
Does this look like an inverted V? Ive always felt this big groove between the cartilage and boney part bit im now 10 months with thin skin and since my skin started shrink wrapping it became more visibe. Cant really get it on a pic but if you connect the dots you kinda see. I also aalready hae an open roof on the left ;(
I am 6 months out from a preservation rhinoplasty where my surgeon used fascia from my scalp to smooth out the contours of my nose. I am now beginning to see an inverted V deformity and my originial bumps showing through. Could I have caused this? I had multiple deaths in my family & cried & drank too much. I also used a supplement called Neprinol that Im worried ate the fascia used to smooth my bumps. My doctor is so talented so I have to believe I caused this.
I had the following surgeries together to restore my breathing, deviated septum, and reduce a hump after having suffered injuries to my nose years prior: septorhinopasty, nasal valve repair, turbinate reduction. The surgery took 7.5 hours and there were mentions of a fracture at the L-strut and a keystone disruption at the time of surgery. I'm not sure what this means. The complications that I have/had following surgery include hematoma, synechia L+, narrowed airways, deviated septum.
