There are indents on the right (scab didn't come off till 18 days later and the place where the last part of the scab fell off is where it is indented) and a very dark purple/brown line towards the left nostril. Is this normal? I've started to use scar gel but will it improve over time? From the looks of it, it looks like the scar will be prominent. Please advise if there is anything I can do to improve this.
I had my rhinoplasty a year and five months ago. six months post op I had my first steroid injection after that I had four more. After the third or fourth injection my nose changed a lot. The shape is not what it used to be and now it has indents or bumps on the tip. My nose now looks too pointy, and when I smile it kinda droops down. I am just as self-conscious as I was before the nose job. I just want to know if theres a way to fix this without a revision and as soon as possible please :*(
I've had the indent since I was a baby but it's getting significantly more obvious as I age. I have been told that it's in an area that is complicated to work on. I have scoured before and afters for years and have never seen a surgical/non-surgical rhinoplasty or forehead contour result that specifically addressed this part of the nose/brow. I don't really mind the shape of my nose otherwise. Could a brow bone reduction help? I wouldn't even know what to ask a doctor for during a consult.
Hello! I would appreciate any opinions and advice. I had a nasal tip-plasty performed 6 months ago. I am concerned about a bump that recently developed on the side of my nose; from the front view there is a visible indentation, and the side shows a raised area that looks unnatural. I am wondering if there is anything that can be done to minimize the appearance of the bump or if there is a chance this will resolve on its own. Thank you.
I had an open Rhinoplasty 5 weeks ago and I really don't like the way my nose looks. I had my nose made smaller, nostrils narrowed, made it come to a point and the bump removed. It looks some what okay in the mirror, but in photos, it just looks big and wide. Is this swelling? How can I determine what's swollen? One side is a little larger than the other and there's an indentation on the left side.
I had a rhinoplasty and Septoplasty in November of 2020, about a year ago I started noticed an Indention on the left top of my nose near the tip. I have also noticed the tip seems to rotate to the right now. What would cause this? Is this poor healing? Or the technique of the surgeon? I was told he would use a graft and it was harvested from cartridge taken from behind my own ear.
I broke nose bone from a knee coming from the side, it shifted my nasal bone to one side and the doctor in a&e pushed it back to the middle, but I can feel a long indented crack running down on my nasal bone, what can I do to fix this and smooth it out
I had my rhinoplasty a year ago. The surgeon said that my nose was not simple but also not too difficult, thin skin on the bridge and thick skin on the tip. I told him I would rather have him take a little bit than too much, because I wanted a natural result. As the swelling went down the indent on the nostril became worse and more visible. Can this be fixed and how? I would like to hear your opinions. White eyes are 6 months post op and 1 year post op.
My nose is very indented on the sides and very pinched and overall very small, if i put pieces of cotton pads in my nose (see the last picture) my nose looks way better, what kind of grafts will i need to make it like that?
