I was injected with filler for a notch in my right nostril (photo1), which showed after rhinoplasty, and with steroid to improve swelling. I got vascular occlusion and my nose got purple (photo2). I received two Hyaluronidase injections over 8 days. My nose did not go to necrosis but the skin became dark (photo3). While it improved, it has not changed color much in three weeks (photo4). Also, the skin gets darker when I am outside. Will this resolve? How long it will take? What should I do next?
Hello, I am having surgery tI have deviated septum, and chronic sinus infection, so the idea is to get endoscopic sinus surgery, fix the deviated septum, turbinectomy & aesthetically improve my bridge. I had nose filler 2 years ago, (filler brand was juvederm volux*) and I've had hialuronidase twice, back in 2021 and in 2022. Not sure if its gone at all... Will be an issue if I go under the knife? Thx!
Less than 2 months ago I had a full vial of hyalase (Hyaluronidase) injected to dissolve 1.5 mil of lip filler. My face has since lost volume and looks hollow, with my temples looking the worst. I am so scared of it disfiguring my face further and am also scared it will effect the outcome of the rhinoplasty I had scheduled for november this year. Is there any professional advice you can offer to help ease this soul crushing experience? And will hyalase negatively impact rhinoplasty? Thank you
I got a non surgical nose job in May this year. They used hydraulic acid. Its been 4 months since I got it and now Im looking into getting a rhinoplasty. My surgeon says he cant tell yet until the filler is fully dissolved if he can go ahead with the procedure. Hes afraid the filler could make my internal skin in my nose weak and not suitable for it. Do you think its best to get it dissolved or wait and let it dissolve naturally? And do u think I can even get surgery after filler?
I recently got restalyne Lyft I in my nose and HATE my results. I loved my first non-surgical nose job a year ago and loved it, but somehow the touch up distorted my nose and ruined the shape. I can barely leave my house. I want to get a rhinoplasty as soon as possible but I know I need to get the fillers dissolved first but how quickly can I get the rhinoplasty after? Ive had hyaluronidase injections before and the product dissolved all my filler VERY quickly.
I have contacted 3 doctors who declined my request for rhinoplasty. I do not like the projection of my nose compared to my chin. I would also like a slight curved slope to my bridge instead of just straight. My nose tip swells up a lot and gets red when I cry or do exercise, it also gets sore and sensitive (due to my rosacea?). I have 1 mL of HA injections in my chin and my nose still looks long. I do not want a chin implant as I prefer a delicate chin and jaw. Why do I keep getting refused?
My surgeon injected kenalog and hyaluronidase solution along my alar crease line and up the side of my nose six weeks ago (2 months after surgery) , it has caused dents up the side and also (what's concerning me) across towards the bridge? The skin has also gone white / lightened in that area. How long does the steroid stay active in the tissues (e.g. could it yet get worse), will it improve? I have already contacted the surgeons office nearly two weeks ago and I'm still waiting for a response.
Fourteen weeks later, my left eye remains bruised. There is a lump under the skin right above the cheekbone. It is the size of a dime. My surgeons told me it too much filler, they injected hyaluronidase three times however I still have this lump after this the left eye has less filler than the right eye. Now I am told the same bump and swelling is from the rhinoplasty. My eyes look terrible and my vision is getting blurry. I am a little concerned.
