Im 45 years old and have always disliked my nose. While Im not displeased with the shape per se, Ive always felt it was a bit too wide. Would it require a full rhinoplasty to thin it out a bit? I am also starting to to consider some anti-aging surgery as well and am wondering what I should have done?My face is starting to fall and I feel like my eyes are looking heavy (I already get Botox and filler).
47 years old, metal frame glasses noticed bump which is like little bone and change to angled profile on right side of my nose. There is a bump then sharper angle then slopes out so like a little valley at side of tip. Other side seems like the same which is almost straight. Can this be from poorly fitting glasses? Is it permanent? Can it get worst? Im really upset bc doesnt look like me from that angle anymore. Only 11 months glasses. Update: I have seen so many optometrists and they give different responses and I even saw an ENT who is the one who told me it is a bone spur from being irritated, or that's what he thinks. It is only the R side of the nose, and it certainly feels different as well. I've wondered if the skin may have been thinned and is tricking me? It is definitely a different profile now. Thank you.
My nose used to be symmetrical. Over the years I noticed a round bump on the right side of the tip. I thought it could be a cyst but was told by a dermatologist that it was think skin which I never had before. It seems like my septum might be deviated as well. I never broke my nose or had any significant trauma. Im 50 years old. Can the numb be corrected to match the other side od the nose? I also notice a division between left and right side of the tip, like they two sides separated
I am 51 years old . Have full dentures too and bottom . I was told it was dental but it's more of the muscle . One side of my nostril is bigger and flared too. My pholtrum is off center with my nose and my nose pulls up on one side causing the line to be crooked too .
I am in my mid 40s. I always considered a rhinoplasty but probably didnt have enough courage. I am considering a rhinoplasty that provides better symmetry. My nose is slightly crooked (probably due to several elbows to face playing soccer) and the tip could be more pleasant. I find when I smile my nose becomes more pronounced.
50 year old woman who has always wanted rhinoplasty to fix hanging columella, narrow tip a little and fit to my face more attractively. I want a subtle change but to make the nose appear smaller and, in particular, to fix the columella.
Im 47 in great health. Will my skin shrink around the new nose after reductive rhinoplasty???? My concern is that I dont want to reduce too much and end up with excess scar tissue and possible deformity. I have been told that I have thicker skin but not thick. The surgeon (highly reputable) I consulted with is proposing quite a change.
My nostrils were wide & tip droopy. My surgeon stated I have thick skin. Surgeon performed weir incision for nostrils and tongue and grove method on my tip. He stated he had to overcorrect my tip due to the droopiness of my nose. After cast removal my nose never looked normal. Im so embarrassed to be seen in public. Reached out to him several times but he says I need to be patient; in his experience the retraction will improve over time. If not Plan B. He will go in and lower the suture.
