i a septorhinoplasty back in July of 2023. I had asked my surgeon so straighten my nose and make my side profile more straight as I had a down shape with a hump side profile. My nose wasnt terrible prior to my surgery I actually liked it I just wants those imperfections fixed. Its been 7 months now and my nose has no structur of definition on the bridge my tip is huge as well as my nose being wider than its orginal shape. I was told no to taping but 5 months in I began to with permission .
I had a rhinoplasty in july 24 in turkey. I requested the hump be removed, nose be mde only a little slimmer (as it was really thin in middle - wider a bottom). I specifically asked do not mke upright. My nose 7 months on looks small, thick, wider, piggy. The clinic have now lied and said they told me due to my thick skin tip can not be sharper. They never told me. My nostrils are really tight and asymettrical. I have bumps in nose and bridge is too small.
Around 4 months after Rhinoplasty my nose started becoming swollen, red and pulsate every single night at 10pm, I don't sleep at that time. This has been going on for the past months and it doesn't seem to go away. My dermatologist said it might be Rosacea or maybe an Infection. I've been on meds for the past few weeks it doesn't seem to get better. I am getting paranoid that this constant swelling at 10pm which lasts for about 4 hours is going to ruin my nose tip results
Im 7 months post primary rhinoplasty. I still have quite a bit of swelling, and my surgeon said he might give me a kenalog injection in 5 months to help with the swelling. However, I just started taking Accutane for my skin and will be on it for 8-12 months. Could I still get the kenalog injection even though Im on Accutane? Would Accutane affect the efficacy or safety of kenalog injections?
I had my surgery 7 months ago. I developed an uneven area on the bottom third of my nose. It is soft to the touch at certain points of the day, but can also get hard at times. I was told my skin is thin. Would this still be swelling or scar tissue.
Painful, red hard bump on left nostril tip Hi I am 7months post septorhinoplasty and for the second time now I have developed a very painful abscess of some sort on my left nostril tip. The first time I was prescribe antibiotics for one week and it took care of it but 1 month after that the bump came back and it is even more painful than the last time. My doctor hasnt been very helpful and his nurse keeps gaslighting and telling me she cant see anything when its very obviously there!
Hello, Ive had my rhinoplasty in March this year. After 1 month I could breathe normally, this kept on till month 6/7. Suddenly I woke up with a clogged nose. I can still breathe but very bad compared to the first 5/6 months. How can this happen? Ive went to 2 ents and they both said: your nose seems fine from the inside, and Ive done an allergy test (there is a very low chance that Im allergic to something). Its like something is blocking the air. I make sounds while breathing.
I had rhinoplasty 7 month ago and all this time I had big visible columella scar . Doctor said is will go away with swelling but it didn't . Now my doctor says that he can fix it now and it's not hard procedure but I am very afraid to go to the same doctor again . This is gonna be my 3rd surgery on my nose with him . I am not sure if it didn't heal right , or did I do something to cause the scar and maybe it's doctors fault . It affects my life tremendously and I wanna get it fix asap .
