I had rhinoplasty done in 2019, and after that, my swelling had reduced a lot by mid-2020. Now, when I sleep, there is congestion in my nose, and it blocks my nose, due to which my swelling is increasing. If I do not sleep for 2 days, the swelling will start decreasing, but if I sleep, the swelling will increase the next day. And earlier, when I used to wake up from sleep, I used to notice less swelling. I feel very bad seeing my face, and I stay at home; I don't even go out. I feel SAD.
My I had a rhinoplasty where my tip got lifted. Since that day my laugh is not the same anymore and my teeth never show when I talk. Of course the doctor told me this will pass, but it never did. we are actually almost 5 years later and it did not get resolved. Is there a way to recover my upper lip mobility?
I had a rhinoplasty done in 2019 and ever since the procedure, i have had a permanent stuffy nose. I am now a loud breather and sometimes have to breathe through my mouth cause my nostrils are so clogged. I am perfectly healthy but my nose is just clogged up. It feels like the insides of my nose are swolen and wont let air in. I dont know what to do about it and just want to breathe normally again.
I had a rhinoplasty in 2019 and a hard nose hit in 2020. Since then, it feels like there are rods along the sides of my nose where the muscles are, I can't move my nasal muscles without experiencing significant resistance, and there is a popping noise when I blink or scrunch my nose around the eye. I have also noticed that when I push my nose from the sides, the blocked feeling completely resolves for 5-15 seconds. Could cartilage grafts become dislodged and interfere with muscle? Thanks
My 2 year old accidentally hit the bridge of my nose with a wooden toy hard enough to cause a cut and a little bump, but no nosebleed, a day ago. I am 4 years post septorhinoplasty and although I know I am in the very early healing of this injury I am terrified that it may have messed up my nose cosmetically and am scarred by many years of dealing with a crooked nose before finally having it fixed. My surgeon has since retired so I dont have him to go to currently.
I slipped and fell into the wall by accident and hit my nose in the wall (from the front). I hit my nose tip hard and it was hurt like 5 minutes. Iam an 4 years after rhinoplasty (I had cartilage and DCF with the tip raised). There is no bleeding, just a bit swollen around my nose tip, a little bit pain. Should I worry about that?
I had a septorhinoplasty about four years ago. I was left with a bump that feels like either scar tissue or cartilage on my bridge, right where my bone and cartilage meet. I would rather not undergo revision rhinoplasty at this point, is there any other option to make my nose look more normal?
I had rhinoplasty 4 years ago and I have no feeling in most of my nose. So this permanent Nerve damage is the fault of the physician or just bad luck? Does this mean going into a facelift I should worry about the same thing happening or completely unrelated?
