Hi there, I completed my rhinoplasty four days ago (13th May) and this was an open surgery. I previously had a droopy nasal tip and now I look very piggish with the tip being upright. I did have a full rhinoplasty completed, to make my nose slender and apparently I had a small hump at the top of my nose. I know I am still in the swelling stages but the question I have is, will the nasal tip drop? I hate the fact that I now look like Mr Piggy. Pre and post photos are attached. Thanks
I had rhinoplasty four days ago. On the second day I developed an allergic reaction to the adhesive on the surgical tape. I had to remove the cast. Will this affect my results? I still have the internal splints inside and they are being removed in two and a half days
Post op 4 days from this surgery. My question is I cannot sleep since I have been home on the surgery. Everytime I fall asleep whether in a chair, elevated on a pillow etc, after 3-5 min, I hear like a pop in my mouth breathing and wake up. The pop is loud. It almost seems like I am gasping for air for a quick second. This happens continuously every few min and I cannot sleep. Called surgeon and he suggested Nyquil. Tried that but it was worse.
So I got a septoplasmy/rhinoplasty 4 days ago and everything regarding that is fine. However, after the second day, my throat was overwhelmingly sensitive. Furthermore my uvula had swollen up, making it feel like I had a pill permanently stuck in the back of my throat. I thought that it would be over but it has looked like the picture below for the past two and a half days. What can I do? Should I be worried? Absolutely terrified because I don't want another surgery.
My family are nothing but clowns. Since they are visiting to take care of me we are trying to bond as much as we can. However, I feel the excessive laughing to the point of tears could be detrimental to my nose. I am now 4 days post up and I have probably laughed every single day since surgery. My nose feels fine I am just worried it could ruin my septum cartilages tip that was completely reconstructed from nothing. It doesnt hurt though.
I got a Rhinoplasty OP 4 days ago ad Im starting to notice a pink small ball looking thing in my left nostril. I been cleaning my nostrils with hydrogen peroxide with a cotton swab on both nostrils. I also notice that the side with the pink looking ball leaks a bit more than the other one, the leakage is not mucus but more watery and yellow. What can it be?
I accidentally scrunched my nose really hard 4 days post op. There was pain in the bridge area when in happened but went away. But now the right side of the nose feels very sore and numb. Could I have damaged my nose or shifted something??
4 days after my rhinoplasty, I was hugging my girlfriend from behind and she leaned her head back and hit my nose. I was in pain for a few minutes, and then it subsided. It felt a little soar and swollen after the fact. It did not bleed or pop any stitches. My nose was still taped and with a splint, although I know the splint is more to control the swelling. Is it likely it could affect my results or cause internal damage?
Hi, today, while applying arnica gel, when i have touched marked spot i felt like it literally colapsing with a lot of crackling noise. Than, with much lesser noise it would bubble each time when lightly pressed. Any thoughts?, regards.
