Hi, Im looking for some help. I got a rhinoplasty done about a year ago and as time has passed the end result looks very asymmetrical at the nostrils and the tip. I have never had this issue before the nose job but I did have a boxy tip that my surgeon corrected for. After research, it looks similar to nasal valve collapse pics I am seeing online. Is this the case? I am seeing my surgeon in a month and considering a revision.
Pain, alterings that looks as obvious lowness, used sunglasses for sometime between month 5/6, after edema was gone you can see it more clearly, it looks like fibrosis or something like that! Doctor said you dont have to be worried it is a small part and nothing happens from it, but I feel pain and irritation when i touch that part, even the skin in that part stays wrinkled! massaged it sometimes but doctor said i dont suggest it, it neither does alterings it neither helps! Did it one year ago
Hello! Im a little over 1 year post rhinoplasty. My nose shape has changed and Im wondering if it is swelling or if this is how my nose is going to look like now? It doesnt look like how it use to after the few months following cast removal and it has been fluctuating for the past year. I also have this bump on the tip of my nose Im wondering if it will go away or if it needs to be surgically reduced? They lifted my tip because I had a flat nose, he didnt use cartilage from my ear or rib.
Since about 6 months post op (I am currently 13 months out from surgery), my nose tip is lumpy and one side appears to be a white circle, the other side is a bossae. I saw my plastic surgeon and he suggested shaving down the bossae, but it would cost me an additional $1000, he refused to address the other side of my nose tip. Can you please explain what this round lumpy side is? I am so disappointed and feel that my nose looks botched.
Hello! Its been one year since I had my rhinoplasty. I wanted barbie nose, but now I think that the angle of my nose is too high and from the front my nostrils are almost fully shown. My doctor said that it will drop, but I wanted second professional opinion.
Hello. I had a rhinoplasty a little over a year ago. My nose constantly drips snot when it's cold, when I'm eating, when I'm exercising, when I'm laughing, etc. The only time it doesn't drip is when I'm laying down. When I lay down, my nose also becomes congested. Lastly, I have thick scar tissue growing inside the top of both of my nostrils. Will I have to get another revision to solve these problems? Can the scar tissue that's inside the top of my nostrils (where the scar is) be removed?
I had a rhinoplasty last year. I noted a bump on the top bridge of my nose early on and was told it is most likely swelling. I went for a follow up yesterday and showed my surgeon the bump. He said my skin is thin and tightened up quickly. He said fillers can fix the issue. I am so upset because I dont want fillers for the rest of my life. Is this common? Are fillers my best option at this point?
I had a rhinoplasty for the first time on feb 2023. In April-may my nose looked very refined and good from the side profile, but almost a year later is looking more bulbous and from what I know, the nose should be getting smaller??? In the two weeks following my Op I got three steroids injections and CO2 Laser on the nose. Does that have smth to do with it? I really want my nose to look like it looked in mai. Why is this happening, what can I do?? Thank you!!
I had an open rhinoplasty 14 months ago. I have thick skin and wanted a more defined less bulbous tip. My nose looks much better from the side but from the front there is not huge improvement. Could i Still have some swelling? When i wear a nose clip my nose looks better after. Do i need wait longer for final result or is this as good as it gets? Should i get massaging and using my nose clip?
