Hi, I had a septorhinopasty in April 2022 and unfortunately hate the results. My bridge and columella were the main areas that were changed but feel as if my whole nose is now too small and undefined for my face and I hope a revision would ideally be able to give me something similar to what I had before. I understand my old nose cant fully come back but could that be worked towards so I look a little more like myself? Would a revision be feasible? or would fillers be helpful? Thanks
I kindly really need your help, if you see what i need not possible please just tell me, what bothers me a lot is the deviation in my nose, too small nostrils that need to be enlarged (Im thinking of lip lift to get the width back).. those are the main concerns, i think my doctor altered every ml in my nose so there is alot to fix, Is it about spreader grafts? Is it about ear or rib graft? Is it about just bringing the bones together to straighten them? What it is really about based on pics :/ ?
Unfortunately my nose is a weird shape and looks deformed, see attached photo for example. What surgeons have fixed this issue and helped people with a similar issue? I will be so grateful!
I had a revision rhinoplasty a month ago. My bridge had a few irregularities and I had an undefined and droopy tip. My surgeon used a septal extension graft and photos of my new nose are included, as well as before photos. I think that my new nose is cute, but it's to small for my face and I didn't ask for a button nose. My surgeon says the tip projection is optimal and over time the tip will soften. I'm so distraught and don't even want to consider a second revision. Thoughts?
I am about 5 weeks post op. I got my hump taken off and my tip lifted and refined. I am fine with the hump being removed but I can't stand looking at my front profile. I feel like my nose looks too small and lifted and since swelling is still a factor Im afraid it's only going to get smaller. With a revision can I drop the tip and make it a little rounded and wider again like it used to be? I don't mind not having a swoop or anything like that I just want my old self from the front back.
I had a rhinoplasty with rib 2 yrs ago it's fake looking, too small, stiff & i have asymmetrical nostrils. i asked for just hump removal w preservation & ended up getting donor rib which i wasn't aware is used in primary. it's affected my mental health A LOT. i am looking into revision but before i set up consults i wanted to know would i be able to remove the rib and use septal cartilage or something softer like a normal nose? what needs to be done to make it more bulbous?
Hello! I would like a second opinion because my doctor say everything it's fine but I'm not sure and I start to feel that I just had a bad Rinoplasthy and I'm been feeling really down. I had a crooked nose and big nose. I feel like My Nostrils are showing way too much. Also I feel like my nose it's way to small for my face, also way to upturn and looks really piggy un front. I'm really worried about that. I also have a big ball in the tip of my nose it's this normal ?
I have never had a rhinoplasty, but I am asking this in the revision section because I naturally look like I have had a botched one. I know people are obsessed with button noses, but mine is too small for my face and looks like a bat or a goblin. I would like to more or less keep the shape but make it just a tiny bit longer and more prominent. How can this be done?
My revision rhinoplasty doctor added cartilage grafts into my alars bc he said my nostrils were too small. I am 7 months post opt and I can feel the cartilage grafts: they are stiff and very thick. It's effecting my breathing to the point where I have to wed snore guards/splints to open my airways so I can breath. I wear these 24/7. What can be done to soften these cartilage grafts in my alars? Can steroid shots help soften these grafts so they're not so thick and stiff?
