I had my rhinoplasty just over 6 months ago. My nose tip is still bumpy but he said its soft tissue swelling. The swelling has persisted and now Im scared I have scar tissue. Do I need a revision? I have attached a photo so you can see my nose tip
I am over 7 months post op and my alar base scars atill look fresh and very visible. Is it going to stay this way? Ive tried everything, silicone cream since surgery upuntil now. I also feel like my tip and bridge are still wide although I had a very slim nose before will I need revision? i hate my nose :(
I had primary rhinoplasty 6 months ago and have been utterly disappointed with the results. The job seemed quite sloppy and the issues Ive had with my nose havent gone away. All advice says to consult the original dr when things seem off but i was told it was only swelling, even though my concerns werent withswelling. My tip is twisted, columella lifted along with tip, and nostrils absolutely horrible shaped. I also have pretty severe scars. First 3photos are my original nose, the rest now
Hello, My initial rhinoplasty was very aggressive and my bridge was scooped, pointy tip rounded. I am looking for revision rhinoplasty to rebuild my bridge and restore my tip. My surgeon shortened and rounded my tip. I used to have a pointy and long tip. The tip change makes my nose bulbous and unflattering wheh smiling, as my tip used to point down when smiling. Is there any procedure that can elongate my nose and make it pointy again?
I am almost 8 months post op rhinoplasty but I feel like the tip looks a bit weird. Sharp or pointy. It still feels very hard specially the very tip. Can this round out and soften or get sharper and pointier ? Thank you
I have had one surgery and asked for a very natural tip angle and I now have a high tip (for me) I know it's not the worst but it's not what I had in mind. I also didn't want my nose to be more projected. My nose feels too ' equilateral triangle-ish' , is it possible in thick skin to have my bridge lowered a tad , bring the tip down a bit and brought a little closer to my face. I'm not expecting a small barbie nose but just minor tweaks. In your profession opinion do you think its worth doing even?
Not disfigured, just disappointed. Had septorhinoplasty 3+ years ago for deviated septum and nose that pointed to the left. Goal was to breathe better/nose look straight from the front but still look like me (not smaller; keeping bump). Breathing hasn't really improved. Bridge is fine but the tip is noticeably larger/droopier and swells throughout the day. My nostrils seem to flare. Could steroid injections or liquid rhinoplasty help? Or tip plasty under local anesthetic?
The top is the before and the bottom is after . I am two days getting my cast off and absolutely hate my results. I asked for just a little tip refinement from the sides and instead was given an overly pinched squidward nose. My soft cute feature is gone and now replaced by a grinch pointy nose. Its way too small for my face. I know there is swelling but Im guessing swelling will decrease it and make it even smaller which is worse do I have any hope to make it softer and rounded again?
I had cartilage grafts to the tip. *my surgeon has told me it is swelling and will resolve over time however it appears that swelling should not last 5 years* One side looks very swollen and is hard from the end of the bridge to the tip and to the nostril as shown. The tip on the right side is so large in that area that from a 45 degree angle on my right side it looks as if I have a bump. If it is cartilage, why is the other side is soft? Is there a minimally invasive solution?
