I had primary rhinoplasty 6 months ago and have been utterly disappointed with the results. The job seemed quite sloppy and the issues Ive had with my nose havent gone away. All advice says to consult the original dr when things seem off but i was told it was only swelling, even though my concerns werent withswelling. My tip is twisted, columella lifted along with tip, and nostrils absolutely horrible shaped. I also have pretty severe scars. First 3photos are my original nose, the rest now
My nose was flatter before and my surgeon built it up with rib conservatively. I asked my surgeon to defat the part below the tip if possible. I drew a black dot where the tip is. Im referring to the part where the columella meets the bottom of the tip where I drew the red arrow (not the tip itself). He said its too dangerous to thin this part out. Is it possible to reduce or thin it a good amount? I added a photo of what Im referring too.
My nose looks asymmetrical from the front view. my nostrils were reduced too much (they used to be rounder), the left one doesn't look natural. And, the dorsum on the right side appears depressed. My columella is inclined, and I have an indented scar on the columella and the green area is depressed. Is there something to do?, specially with the Asymmetric nasal wing and the scar? I'd not like to undergo another open rhinoplasty but correct these defects in the least invasive ways
I had septum/rhinoplasty surgery in 2019 and underwent a tip revision in the winter of 2023 to adjust some cartilage in my tip that didn't heal well after the initial surgery. It's been a little over a year now since the revision surgery, and I've noticed that the base of my nose feels very stiff. Additionally, my upper lip feels like it's being pushed down slightly, and it prevents my upper teeth from fully showing when smiling. Thanks for your help!
I had my first rhino in august 2023. I asked for tip rotation and dorsal hump to be shaved down and that is what i received but i did not realize how much my smaller nostril would retract, exposing the columella. The tip graft is obvious and getting worse. My natural asymmetry is now much more apparent and i think my nose looks too short and unnatural. I am asking if it is possible for me to achieve a natural result lowering my nose and possible to add a graft to my nostril
I have had 2 rhinoplasties. After revision I am still not happy, and it looks like the doctor took too much columella to use it as a graft. Now I ended up with no columella and my nose looks so odd. Could it be corrected with filler or is it too risky? Or could a 2nd revision be possible to correct the nostrils and the columella? I am okay with the overall size now it is just the issues mentioned above bother me. Thank you for your advice in advance.
Is there a way to round the tip and columella more? I hate how straight it is. I told my doctor I didnt want that but he did it anyway based on his preference of what looks good. I think it looks unnatural. I have thin skin so I was going to get another surgery to add fascia and nano fat. Would that help? My nostrils are retracted (naturally and worsened through primary surgery) but the columella was angled in a straight out way after my secondary. I hate it. This journey has been a disaster.
