I had my rhinoplasty just over 6 months ago. My nose tip is still bumpy but he said its soft tissue swelling. The swelling has persisted and now Im scared I have scar tissue. Do I need a revision? I have attached a photo so you can see my nose tip
6 months PO revision rhinoplasty where a septal extension graft, spreader grafts, rib grafts, etc were moved. My nose is long, overprojected, and grafts show through my skin. But above that, I have this intense pressure in my left sinus. It feels like a poking sensation. I sound conjested, my nose is constantly runny. Could this be a result of oversized/improperly placed grafts? I plan on getting an in person assessment as well.
I got a nose job 6 months ago and as you can see, too much cartilage was taken off from my dorsum a in order to build my tip that lacked cartilage. Now I have a tip thats too projected and a bridge that doesnt match the tip. Am I able to get a more harmonious and less curved nose? And will this require a rib graft? Is there any possibility of the tip becoming shorter throughout the healing process, or should I already be looking into revision?
I am 25 and underwent a primary rhinoplasty 6 months ago. I am concerned about the outward curvature of my nose on both sides but primarily on my right side. I was originally told I could do an in-office rasping to resolve this issue. Now I am told that I need to go under at the surgery center to fix the issue. Is it possible this hard bump is swelling or is it likely that it is bone that needs revision surgery? Looking for a second opinion. Thank you!
I had a closed septorhinoplasty in 2018, in which mostly only the bridge was aesthetically amended, however the septum unfortunately was not fully fixed. Then in spring 2023, I had an OPEN septorhinoplasty to fix the septum, smoooth out a dorsal jump that was left over from primary surgery and fix a hanging columealla. my existing septal reserve cartilage was used so no rib graft or ear graft was used. I am now 6 months and notice my swelling beneath the keystone area of nose stagnating
Hi, I had a rhinoplasty done in Colombia 6 months ago to slim the bridge of my nose. As of now I am not happy with my results. My nose was shorten and to upturn. My nostrils are so exposed. Nothing was done to the bridge. I went to a couple of doctors in my area. Some said to wait 12 months and some said they can do it now. What would go wrong if I go through the revision surgery after 6 months? My nose feels normal and physically I have no swelling.
Recently a bruise-like discolouration appear on nose bridge. I had redness on the bridge but it faded and suddenly it expanded to cause red purple hue at the lower part. I had rhinoplasty about 5-6 months ago. Tender when pressed on the impacted area, tried antibiotics course but seems like no use. No swelling just concern on the expanded red purple discolouration and surgeon said its normal? The thing is it was not like this before and it got worst.
I'm 6 months post-op and this is my second revision rhinoplasty. First revision the implant was moving. Now, after the second revision it's mostly in place but is still leaning on one side. It's discouraging as I will have to endure another surgery because of this and another ear cartilage will be harvested. My surgeon harvested twice from one ear and it now hurts more at slight impact. It's depressing.
I had a revision rhinoplasty about 6 months ago, before the swelling went down it was looking great but now Im noticing this area around my nasal bone that looks funny. I was told that I have tissue paper thin skin in my consultation to get a revision I just hoped that a revision would have fixed this issue. It looks like an inverted v, people say they dont notice it but I do and its bothering me. I appreciate any help understanding. Thank you
Had revision rhinoplasty 4-5mo ago for a pinched tip & breathing issues. Now I have a S or C curve, asymmetric points on the tip, cartilage @45 angle at the tip, and irregular nostril openings bc one side healed w a depressed scar & other healed by 2nd intent. I'm not happy but he's happy w results. He also says depressed scar side is lower that L & nose curve is due to muscle asymmetry when smiling- but not smiling in these pics. Any thoughts on what can/should be done or not? Thank you.
