Hello, I have a concern. I had an ethnic Rhinoplasty and I am 3 months post-op and I am having difficulty breathing out my left nostril. I looked inside my nose and it seemed like my nasal cavity was pinched and it's blocking my airway. I just need help what should I do
Surgery 6/28, 3 weeks later had a bump on the top right side of my nose. At my 5 week post op my dr told me to massage it 5 min a day. This made it worse, now 3 months post op it's bad. I complained at a 9 week post op and he said at 5/6 months he can go back in and shave the bump down. Worried that 5 months is risky to do another surgery, is it too soon? Bump aside I don't like my outcome at all so far, I don't think this nose is attractive and I don't know that I should see him again. Advice?
I had a rhinoplasty 10/19 and am unhappy with the tip of my nose as it is still bulbous. I'm working closely with my Dr and have received steroid shots which help (see pics), but my nose remains bulbous from the front. My Dr is suggesting a bilateral cephalic trim, but I am worried about deformities based on reviews I've seen. I have thick skin, so he's indicated I'm a good candidate with limited risk. I'd love any thoughts on this procedure and if it seems like a good next step.
I am 3 months post primary rhinoplasty from a reputable surgeon in NYC. As the swelling has reduced, there is a dent in the side of my nose that corresponds with a bump on the bridge. My breathing is great, I have zero discomfort. I am so upset, I don't see how the swelling decreasing over the next 12 months is going to rectify the side dent...I have hopes that the bridge dent will reduce. My nose holes are uneven, and my surgeon already injected one with filler to make it smaller. Help!
I had rhinoplasty + alar base reduction + slight hump correction about 3 months ago. Super unhappy with the results so far. My nostrils look like slits that don't even show from the side or front now since surgeon also increased nose length. I also think the rhinoplasty was too dramatic and nose is too small. Breathing in right nostril is still very poor and my upper lip is dropped and stretched. My whole face looks so weird. Is there anyway to fix the tiny slit nostrils? I am very depressed.
I had open Rhinoplasty 3 months ago. I think I have supra alar pinched tip, although the tip itself is not pinched. This is my picture, can you please confirm this? Do you think the tip itself is still swollen so it makes it look even worse? Another thing, what is the cost and recovery process for a revision for this issue? Is it like the open rhinoplasty? Can I use fillers instead or is the pinching too deep? Sorry for all the questions but I am confused. Thanks!
I am 3 months after the revision rhinoplasty and my nose looks CROOKED. It had never been crooked before, neither my natural nose nor after the primary rhinoplasty. I can move the skin on the top and straighten it, but after few seconds its crooked again. My second concern is HANGING COLUMELLA and bulbous tip. The hanging columella was the main reason why I did revision rhinoplasty and now it makes me look like a witch from certain angles when I smile. It took 18 months to get rid of swelling first time?
Im 3 months post op for a revision rhinoplasty. He said my progress was going good and gave me a steroid shot, this was over a week ago. I havent really seen any results. The fluid retention is in my tip. How long will it take for me to see results?
I had revision rhinoplasty 3 months ago as my left nostril had completely collapsed and had trouble breathing. My nose is now alot wider and longer but my surgeon says this is just swelling. I now have a bump that appeared after one month on right side of my bridge which is not going down with massaging.the shape of my nose has completely changed. I understand my nose would be slightly wider with grafts placed but i feel this is too wide. can you please advise if this is just swelling?
I have a small hard round ball on the tip of my nose that has not been getting any better it seems. The surgeon used pds 5-0 sutures to shape and lift my tip and also resected and repositioned the LLC. Is it possible for suture knots to cause this type of reaction and persist for 3 months? Or is this most likely my lower lateral cartilage edges? How would this be fixed if it is my lower lateral cartilages.
