Worth It
Spent: $700 in Fort Worth, Texas
I made the spontaneous decision to have this done. I didn't research it at all. Don't do what I did. Check out pricing. I paid $700. Seems high compared to others who had it done.
Attention smokers and coffee drinkers: You can't smoke or drink anything dark for 72 hours after the office procedure. I didn't know that. I lasted 42 hours.
Sure, they give you Vicodin for the painful "zingers" (which for me were extreme for 6 hours during and after the treatment. But no morning coffee and no cigarettes, combined with sensitive teeth for the following week made me entirely cranky and irritable.
My teeth were extremely whiter when I left the dentist chair. Their recommendation is to change your diet and habits to eliminate cigarettes, coffee and tea, FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE to keep your teeth their whitest.
I highly recommend this for the individual who has stained teeth, but not to the middle or older age people, who still enjoy their coffee and smokes.
