Not Worth It
Spent: $485 in Reno, NV

My original review was that it didn't hurt 1/10th as bad as most people say and that I would have gladly paid double.

It has been exactly 1 week and here is my new review:

It didn't hurt that bad, other than a few "zingers" toward the end and I honestly couldn't have done one more 15 minute session without being very unhappy. With that, I still doubt it is worse than child birth, but I'll never know about that.

Results: Well, I was VERY happy for 2 days despite the sensitive gums and teeth, but by day 4, I realized I paid almost $500 for what I consider a "very good cleaning"

After effects:

My gums are still sore, I have sensitivity to cold still, which I never had before but I think slowly it will go away, but we will see.....it's not bad, but I didn't have it before so it sucks a little.

I am literally missing some gum tissue above one tooth, which is new! I did have a SMALL recession in this area before the procedure, but the EXCESSIVE BURNING produced by the UV light, burnt away some more gum tissue, and now I have to wait for it to fully heal to decide if I need a gum graft.

I think it may turn out not too bad, but since the gum is still dark red with white parts, it looks like much more gum is missing, and it is SORE.....no more sonicare for a while.

Conclusion:

I thougt people were insane with their reviews, but I have to say that I would NEVER, EVER in a million years do this again even if my teeth became 100 shades whiter....NEVER!

ZOOM! ................SUCKS!

There is a general teeth whitening topic if you would like to consider other options for tooth whitenting.
