I agree with all you women who think that thermage is a waste of money.I have not had thermage done personally and never will. I am writing this after watching what thermage did to my sister. Her face was severly sun burnt and the bright sun had caused before-age wrinkles. She decided to go for thermage after learning about it at a clinic. What followed was intense pain. I know this for a fact because i drove her home after the procedure. She kept complaining of severe burning and stinging throughout. I saw how red her face was begining to turn and decided to stay the night at her place, just in case. My midnight she was swollen like a baloon and red like a tomato. She kept saying that it was burning and too itchy. By next morning, she was worse and had these odd blisters on her face, the kind that come after a second degree burn. It took several weeks for the redness and swelling to reduce but the blisters left a permanent mark and took too long to go away. The doctor gave some antibiotics to my sister but her face was beyind cure. It took several months for her face to get normal. Thermage did not take the sunburn or the wrinkles away and her time and money, both were wasted.

thermage does not "take the sunburn away" nor does it harm skin unless one is overtreated - this is doctor error, not thermage error. you obviously weren't given the proper pre-consultation information, nor the proper treatment. Put the balme where it belongs - you and your doctor
