Before I had my 3 kids I had a wounderful body. With my first pregency, I gained 85 pounds. I was too thin to start out at (5'5" 110 lbs) and gained 80 pounds. I never lost that preg wt but went down to a comfortable 145, got pregnant with my second and blew up past 220. I then dropped down to 168-175 for a long time. Finally I started to care what I looked like and sstarting exercising and eating right. I got down to 135 then got preg with my son. I gained 50 lbs with him but lost it quickly. I got down to 125 afterwards and everything on my body is ruined.

A couple a days after Christmas my husband and I decided that we were in a financial postion that we could go ahead with my Mommy Makeover. I had a consultation with a plastic surgeon in the area that I completely trust and booked my surgery right after the consultation. My surgery is scheduled for March 6. Super excited and cannot wait.

I don't know if this is normal, ok, or not. My right drain tube is bleeding from the site a bit. Have a couple of calls out but still haven't heard back. I go back to the ps office tomorrow hope I feel as good tomorrow as i do today. I probably over did it getting up and sown this afternoon .

Last night. I slept pretty good last night and feel much better this morning. I was
Expecting to be on a lot more pain than I am in. I go into the dr. today to check out the bleeding around the tubes, get cleaned up, and fitted for
a different binder.
My 2 year old son is handling it very well. He knows mommy has an "ouchie"and is very careful. Hes been helping out to if I drop something will pick it up or me.

Post op day 5: I got a little depressed today, not so much on the results of my surgery but the fact that there's so much I cannot do yet. I feel fine and the pain is minimal! I haven't had prescription pain meds since Thursday night at bedtime.
On Friday 3/9, I got my drain tubes out. He told me to be on my best behavior and not to over do it. I see him again on Friday. I hope he releases me to do a little more! I'm so bored but that's ok.

It's been one week since my surgery. I feel great pain wise, but really emotional. I have my ups and downs. One minute I love how i look and the next i feel like my ass is growing bigger everyday. I miss exercising, working, etc. I miss my normal routine.
My left drain tube sight started bleeding last night. ( I got the tubes out on Friday) the right one looks great. So taking it even easier than easy, see how things look tomorrow and probably call the ps tomorrow. Right there really brought me down today. Im scheduled to see him on Friday. I have been taking it easy. I pretty much just get up to go to the bathroom and eat.
Who knows what tomorrow brings, I'll probably be all smiles:)

Thanks! My dr apt went really well. I got my drain tubes out on Friday. He told me I could shop for a corset this weekend, but I didn't find any I liked at the store I went to. I didn't feel like going to multiple stores. I go see him again next Friday! So far 2 days with out pain meds, just OTC. I really don't feel any pain, just really fatigued if I do too much. That's when I notice I need to settle down. Today, my oldest daughter would only let me get up today to use the restroom. She did laundry, cooked and cleaned while my hubby was at work. Made me feel blessed to have great support while I'm trying to heal.

Please take it easy and don't rush this healing process. You can continue to feel good but you don't want to injure yourself in anyway and set yourself back. Summer is coming hon and you will move right into it with all the pretty clothes that you have wanted to wear for awhile now. PLEASE take it easy ok...I hope your doctor appt. are going well too. What did the doctor do about the bleeding around the tubes?
