In December last year I had a breast augmentation...

In December last year I had a breast augmentation that went terribly wrong. Not only did I have 1 breast augmentation, but I had 2 in less than 24 hours!! After having my breast augmentation performed under twilight sedition in the back room of the surgeons clinic I apparently woke up crying wanting them bigger, so the next day, less then 24 hours later, I was back on the table where the surgeon put in much larger 390 CC HP round implants. When I finally came to it 5 days later, because I was so heavily medicated, I freaked out! Not only were they huge for my tiny frame, but my nipples weren't in the right position and they were wide and very [RS bleep]-star looking, which is not what I wanted at all! And the worst part of all was the incisions weren't even in the crease of my breast, but instead much higher up!!!I realised there was nothing I could do about it, I would just have to get use to them and live with it.

Not even 4 weeks later in January I noticed something was wrong, the incision on the left breast hadn't healed properly and I had a rash around the incision. I went in and saw my surgeon and he gave me antibiotics, however this didn't help because the next day the rash spread to the right breast and I thought it was best I go in to the hospital to have a check. When I was examined I was told I had cellulitis, which is a bacterial skin infection which can lead to death if untreated. I was in hospital for a week on an IV and it was here that I met Dr Alex Phoon. After a week had past the rash was continuing to spread all across my chest, down my stomach and around my back, it was then that I was told the only way to clear the infection was to remove the implants. Even though I wasn't 100% about the implants it was still sad to hear because since I was 15 I had always wanted this surgery and now I was going to lose them.
The next day I went back into the hospital to have the surgery where the implants were removed and I was cleaned out, and because of the infection I did lose some breast tissue which left me flatter chested then I was to start off with!
After this ordeal I met with Dr Alex Phoon in his clinic to discuss what my options were, and he told me I would need to wait at least 2 months before I could have the surgery performed again to make sure the infection had completely cleared and healed. I decided I wanted to go ahead with it, and I had many consultations with him to discuss the outcome. He really understood what exactly what I wanted to achieve and gave his own personal honest opinion which really helped. With all these consultations he made me feel comfortable and in safe hands, and helped me move past the traumatic event that had unfolded.

Come surgery day I felt so exciting and not nervous at all because I knew I was in safe hands. When I arrived I met with the anaesthetist and Alex and felt safe and comfortable going in. When I woke up I felt coherent and my whole family made comments on how different I was coming out of this surgery compared to the others.
The following day I met up with Alex to see the final product, all I can say was I am in LOVE! He placed in me 330CC anatomical mod plus silicone implants and achieved exactly what I wanted. After such an emotional trauma of what had happened I give much credit to Dr Alex Phoon as he was always there to talk and discuss any questions I had and understood the pain and emotional journey I had been on. He was very supportive and was there for me any time of the day (even at 11pm at night!)

I now measure a 32C which is the perfect size for my body and I couldn't be happier!

I would highly recommend Dr Alex Phoon, he is very professional as well as very personal and there to guide and assist in any way possible. I am only 9 weeks out from surgery and have an amazing result and continually receive compliments of how natural and real they look, which is exactly what I wanted.

Thank you Alex for turning a botched breast augmentation into a perfect breast augmentation that was everything that I could have asked for!
