Hi, I am a 29yr female and I had a tummy tuck almost 4yrs ago. I am having pain above the scar, I can feel a nodule and the internal nodule is causing brusing. It is a small area but still painful.

I am very pleased with my results. My doctor was great! The staff took very good care of me also! I would do it over again!!!

I am very concerned and need some advice. Also the nodule does not feel mobile??? I was not for sure if it was a cyst, scar tissue. What should I do? Thank you for your time!

You may have a suture granuloma. This is your bodies way of saying it is not pleased with the suture that was used to close your incision or reinforce your abdominal wall. It may be something you may want to bring to the attention of your surgeon, they can usually fix this in an outpatient facility with local anesthestic. No big deal.

Thanks so much! Is this normal for 4 years after the surgery. I thought I was completely heeled. I thought maybe it could have been scar tissue. Thanks again for your time.
