still a little painful. but a new symptom........???

I woke up this morning, with the usual "morningboob" pain. But when I got up, I realized that I am having this weird feeling in my left breast. It feels like fluid moving around in there, or maybe the implant moving? I am unsure. Both breast still feel feverish, but I myself am only running a low grade (99.9) fever today. I dont see any other signs or symptoms, unless pain at this point in my surgery isn't normal. In both breasts. I am like 5 days post op as of now. I am starting to worry some. But am trying not to get stuck in my own head. Does anyone know what this is? Are you experiencing this or have you experienced this? Is this normal? I have a preop scheduled for this Wednesday (2 days from now). I and till on ceflex antibiotics as well. Thank u in advance for any information or input. I am hoping this isn't a hematoma or seroma or displacement of the implant. I know some about medical since I went to school for it. But I am worried. And will definitely bring this up at my post op appt.

got my surgery yesterday, alot of pain and shortness of breath today.

Well, had my surgery yesterday. It was a long night last night trying to sleep in an upright position. Not being able to use my arms much is hard, and it hurts if I do. You never really know how much you use your chest muscles until you can't use them. Hahahaha. It is hard getting up, sitting up, trying to pull my pants up after I go to the bathroom, reaching for drinks or anything for that matter and they are right beside my bed. I find almost everything hard to do at this point. And when I get up and walk, I am walking all hunched over no matter what. I think because my chest and ribs and back hurts so bad. It feels like someone is sitting on my chest, and it is kind of hard to breath. Yesterday was better than today which sounds crazy since I actually had the surgery yesterday. But all of the numbing has worn off and all that, and these meds are barely cutting the pain for me. My ribs hurt all the way to the bottom of them. But I got to look at them today. They look great, well as great as they can for just being done. They are very even looking and symmetrical. They look huge! And too full, and too tight, and fake. But my surgeon warned me that this would happen. He says (and I know) that they take time to "drop and fluff" as people say. So hopefully in a couple of weeks I will start to see them in a new way. They just hurt so bad, I won't lie. It sucks so bad. But I asked for it. Lol. And my surgeon did his absolute best, and he did better than I ever even imagined. He is so wonderful. Well hopefully tonight I can sleep. Wishful thinking. And hopefully tomorrow may be better? Lol. One can only hope.........

This is before my surgery.

Dr. Church is very professional, sweet, kind and a great surgeon. He really cares about his patients. I could tell from the first time I met him that he would be the choice for me. He wants the best outcome for "you" specifically. He told me what he recommend for me, he explained everything from start to finish with me so many times. He spent alot of time with me. I never felt rushed, he always made me feel very comfortable, and he was very patient with me and kind. His bed side manner is refreshing and absolutely wonderful. I would recommend him to anyone! I really cannot say enough about this wonderful man. I am so happy that I found him, and chose him for my procedure. Even after my surgery he called me twice that night to check on me. You can tell he genuinely cares about you and what is best for you. I was fully aware of everything he was going to do, and he made it apparent by telling me, drawing for me, showing me, going over it so many times. You are not just a number or a paycheck for him. He also told mw that if I ever need him any time of the day or night he will make sure he is here for me, anytime! I hope if anyone in the area is struggling with a decision about who to go to, takes him at least into consideration and give him a try, a chance! Because I feel like I made the best choice I could ever have made. Update!...... Dr. Church called me right after my surgery to check on me. His office sent me a hand written letter thanking me for choosing their office and wishing me well recovery. A couple days after surgery the office called me again to check on me! I love this doctor. Please, go see him!! Best decision ever!
