Ready to Look How I Feel - Wichita, KS
So I will be three weeks post op tummy tuck...
I had drain pulled out at 2 weeks with right at 30cc of fluid in 24 hrs! That was a blessing, but I think I tried to do to much to quick and now I have developed fluid (seroma) around my scar area!! This is super frustrating as I cannot get my binder tight enough and when I do if I try to sit the binder just slides!!! Anyone with any suggestions about compression garments or how the heck to get rid of this seroma, I'm all ears!!
I WOULD TOTALLY DO THIS AGAIN!! I think it is well worth the money and my results even with the seroma are AMAZING!!! :)
Dr. Stacy Peterson is AWESOME!! He has great bedside manner and is truly concerned about his patients. When I went to his office this Week to get the seroma drained for the first time he heard how bad my cold was and checked me for pneumonia before leaving! He does absolutely amazing work and would recommend him to any friends, family or others who are thinking about PS in the Kansas area!!
I will add photos of before and after soon.....sorry!
Well my pre-op appointment is in two days! I am...

So I'm a very inpatient mommy of two, a boy...
So I'm a very inpatient mommy of two, a boy who is 5 and a girl who is 3! I'm 32 soon to be 33. I along with my wonderful husband have been on a "change of life" plan for a bit over a year. I don't like to call it a diet because I don't see it as depriving myself. :) I have gone from 155lbs to 128lbs!! I love to run and use kettelbells for strength training! I love working out!! At this point I can do no more to get rid of what is left over from having my children! I had both of my children c-section and from my two pregnancies I'm left with excess skin and what I call my kangaroo pouch. I can wear cute clothes but I have to position them just right to not create muffin top or a bulge below my waistline because of the excessive skin I feel I'm having to "tuck" into things. My husband doesn't mind it but he understands the way it effects my self confidence. He has been very supportive through this whole process. So now I'm ready to take the first step! I have my first consultation on 4/25! I'm super excited but I want to make sure that I ask all the correct questions. I'm looking at a tummy tuck only. I would however like to talk to him about a breast lift. I'm a b cup and I'm fine with that but I don't like the location they have chose to reside in after breastfeeding my two children :( I just don't want to lose what little tissue I have left! The other thing I'm worried about is the limited option here in the state of Kansas. I would really like to see if anyone has had any experience, good or bad, with anyone in the Wichita, KS, KansasCity, KS or MO area. I hate going on the internet to find my doctor. The PS I'm seeing on 4/25 was referred to me by a friend who is a nurse also, word of mouth makes me feel so much better!! I also wanted to say thanks for this wonderful site! I have found it very helpful and encouraging! I will upload pics after I have chosen my PS and have my date for surgery!
