Laser Hair Removal: Stories

Hair removal done on upper lip, chin, arm pits, brazilian bikini, full legs, toes. Upper lip & chin hair & under arms gone in about 6 treatments, thick hair on legs will take nine treatments. (I've completed 6 treatments over an 8 month period so far.) It has been a long process - I didn't think it would take this many treatments or cost this much, but I think I would do it again. It does hurt sometimes - especially under arms and bikini area. Brazilian bikini is awesome - gets rid of hairs that odor causing bacteria cling to - and oral sex with hubby is 200% better than ever. I have fair skin and dark, thick hair, so I was a prime candidate for laser hair removal. I did not have any problems with burns as some other readers posted. Your skin is sensitive, itchy, and has some red bumps for a couple of days after treatment - but it seriously was no big deal. Aveeno lotion took care of that with no problems. It costs a lot - but I was shaving practically my whole body every other day - what a nuisance. BE WARNED - IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF GREY HAIR - THE LASER WILL NOT GET RID OF IT, THOUGH!! I figure the benefit of not shaving every other day - the cost of expensive water in our area and my wasted time will recoup a lot of the cost of this procedure over the years to come. Just brace yourself for the cost. If you can't afford to spend $8000, then don't go in the door in the first place.
