25 Yr Old, One Child I Breastfed Till One Yr Old. Drained my Once Perfect Breasts ! :( - Whitefish, MT

Finally got myself out of a horribly abusive marriage where I was constantly told my body not being to standard was why he cheated. Still trying to boost my self confidence, I finally decided to get breast augmentation. I chose silicone natrel implants under 300 cc. They looked the closest to what I had before my child. After breastfeeding I had slight asymmetry and my right breast was a bit fuller than the left. I expected this to carry over to my post op results as well, as my surgeon informed me it most likely would. What I did not expect was my right breast being lower set than the left. At two weeks post op they were both even and perfect! Everyone was jealous. I wanted to show them off! At around 2 1/2 weeks, the right side dropped considerably and the nipple points down and out. When looking at them and feeling them separately the right is actually more natural looking/ feeling and I like it better than the left. Except that this week at week 7, I've discovered there is some " rippling" under my right breast. Odd? Will ask about it at my appt next week and update. I'm hoping this will heal over time and that hopefully the left drops as well to even up with the right. Wondering if I did too much too soon? While they look perfect in a bra, I am extremely critical of myself and the crookedness of them bare is a little humiliating. I'll scrounge up my before pics to compare but for now here are my 7 week post op photos. Will update with new photos next week. Really hoping this is a normal occurrence that fixes itself over time.

Sarah has always been great. My interactions with her have always been very informative and understanding. She can make you feel completely at home in her office, and talks to you more as a friend than just another client. Able to answer all my questions and put me at ease. Checked up on me via txt message post op which was AWESOME having her right at my fingertips to answer my questions and concerns. Her staff is amazing and extremely helpful. Even willing to assist me during closed office hours for non emergency situations.

I had rippling from the beginning with my silicone overs, but it was just palpable, not visible, then I developed cap con a year later do I switched to unders with Strattice that prevents cap con and rippling. The rippling is from thin breast tissue (mine was thin on one side especially from3 kids) and that was the side that rippled. The other was perfect. Now they are both soft and squishy and natural. I'm so glad you took care of yourself to get out of your abusive marriage. Best of luck with dealing with this issue. I wouldn't have revised just because of rippling and unevenness, but with cap con, I had no choice.

Thank you for your comment ! It's encouraging to know it CAN be fixed. I will wait to heal a bit more to determine whether or not it heals on its own or if I can live with it or if it bothers me that much, want to try a revision in the future. Mine are silicone under the muscle. I wanted smooth and natural. I was scared of the porn star look lol
