My name is Bianca and on December 16th, 2010 I went to Dr. C in White Plains, New York for a septoplasty/rhinoplasty. I searched around for the right doctor, and after my consultation with Dr. C, I just knew that all the hype I had heard was completely true. I was fearless about the entire process and was nothing but excited.

After hating my nose for years and having a severe deviated septum , my parents and I decided it was time for me to go through with the surgery. I'm typing this the day after surgery, thats how pleased I am already! My bump is completely taken away and my tip was raised slightly the way I wanted. I cannot say enough good words about the whole experience and I will post more pictures once the cast comes off. I can already tell my nose is perfect and my breathing is already dramatically different! I would totally recommend Dr. C and I figured I would write a review so I can help other people out since he doesn't have a site. I will post any updates that I have! Keep updated for more pictures! Feel free to ask any questions!

Thanks for the post bebe.

Glad to hear about your results I am scheduled for surgery with him (Rhino and Chin implant) in Feb. I'm trying not to get over anxious about it and stay positive.
I look forward to seeing the out come when your initial healing is done.

Have you experienced much pain ? How did you feel after surgery ?
I have a 3 1/2 hour drive so I'm hoping it wont be to bad on the way home.

Hey AverageGuy!

You are totally safe hands with him. Every person who walked in the office who had surgery done by him in the past looked amazing.

I'll be totally honest, the first couple of nights were terrible, you actually can't breathe through your nose at all, so if you aren't a mouth breather, that might be difficult to adjust to. Today is day 6 after my surgery, and I'm JUST starting to get some sort of air through my nose, since it's been so stuffed. So be prepared to wake up and have your mouth being crazy dry! You have a pain medication you should take if you feel any throbbing (which i did) and I usually took the pain medication often for the first couple of days but now I dont seem to need it.

After surgery is a complete daze. You will have no idea what is going on, and I dont even remember how I got to the car to drive home. You stay in recovery for 2 hours after surgery and then are free to leave but you will be wobbly and very confused. Your drive will probably be fine considering you will still be very confused but like I said, the pain medication is key because it honestly takes care of whatever pain you are having (it also helps you sleep which is probably what you want to do on the ride home) I have no idea what the chin implant will feel like afterwards but I'm sure the nurses will all tell you what to expect and what to do. Best of luck to you! You are in great hands!! Hope you post on how it goes!

I can't wait to see the results after the splint comes off! How exciting! It sounds like you had a wonderful experience with your doctor. And so smart of you to get your nose tweaked the way you want it while you're young enough to enjoy it for years and years to come.

looks like you have had amazing results here, beautiful! and you seem to be really pleased too. I have similar type of problems with my nose as you had in the before shots and am now really considering getting it done. I'm 19. Just wondering what the response has been like from friends and family.. this is the only thing that is putting me off.
bebe888 25 Feb 2011
Thank you! The response from my friends and family has been great. My family was really supportive of me getting the surgery done because they saw how insecure I was about it. I got teased in middle school - highschool, i literally use to cry and just bang a brush on my nose and hope it broke so i'd have an excuse for surgery! hahaha Basically, my family just knew how much it meant for me to have this fixed. My close friends are the ones I told about getting the surgery, and they were AMAZED by the difference. Many of my other friends just said "something looks different" and couldn't even tell what was different! Dr. C's rhino's look SO natural to the point you will never get anyone say "oh you got a nose job". I totally understand where you are coming from when you say your nervous for the response from friends and family, so i was I but once I got it done and I felt better about myself, I honestly couldn't have cared less! I thought the reaction was going to be a much bigger deal than it actually was. Everyone ended up being super supportive and cool about it.Go see Dr. Ciardullo, its a free consultation and its totally worth it. I can't say enough good things about the experience with him and everyone at the office. Let me know if you go!

hi bianca if you were from cali would u fly to see ciardullo?
bebe888 25 Feb 2011
Hi!
Honestly it is basically guaranteed that your nose will be natural and what you want, so yes. I would definitely do that, and reading reviews about Dr.C and seeing patients would also make me want to fly to see him. I mean he truly is an incredible doctor and has even won several AMERICA'S best doctor awards so he has a great reputation, he is totally personable, and gives patients exactly what they want. I couldn't be happier. I would definitely fly if I knew i was going to be happy with such a permanent thing , especially on my face ! He is so so so so worth it. Without a doubt.

so i'm curious, does he specialize in rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty?
bebe888 3 Mar 2011
I know he specializes in rhino but he talks about how he fixes many other nose jobs from other doctors too. I'm sure his revision are just as great as an actual rhino haha

hi, love your new nose pictures!
I had rhino/septo done 25 years ago and the dr. did not do enough Cosmetic Rhinoplasty and I was left with too long a nose and it protrudes out over my lips and is worse when I smile....so now I would like to have a better looking nose and before I travel down from New Hampshire to meet Dr. Ciardullo.
Does he do the "Closed" approach? I had this done and there is quicker healing and no scarring....I would really love to see more Before and After Pictures on his Rhinoplasty patient surgeries...Do you know how to get these before hand? Thanks for any help at all!
