I had a nose tip made smaller, a hump removed and a significantly deviated septum corrected (it was "s" shaped).

I did it as I hav had issues breathing for quite some time and I have always had an issue with my very slight (yet obvious to me) hump.

I am concerned and worried as my smile is not the same - i look like the grinch! It also hurts to laugh (as though I have a stitch ripping my skinn below my nose). Will my smile ever be normal again? It was the one thing I loved about myself and now its gone..

I underwent rhinoplasty wedenesday 13 may 09. I love my new nose even 10 days after the surgery but I have same problem..my upper lip is very lil bit swelled but i dont have the same smile as before...I'm gonna get it back when the swelling is totally subsided?

This is almost an entire year later. Could you give us an update on your smile? Is it back to normal? Just got my splint off yesterday. My nose and upper lip are swollen, but I can tell I'll end up happy with the result. I have the same problem with my smile, though. It feels unnatural and stiff. I have confidence that after the swelling subsides my smile will be as beautiful as ever. Am I right?
