I had been going to Dr. T’s office for the past several months for the skin pen treatment, which is really amazing; so many people have commented that my skin looks so healthy and smooth. The skin pen really wasn’t doing much to erase the wrinkled skin under my eyes – something it really isn’t designed to do. I was considering under eye surgery but really wasn’t up for all the bruising and downtime just as summer was right around the corner. Dr. T suggested a skin pinch – I had never heard of this before. It is a removal of a small amount of skin under your eye and then the skin is glued together, instead of sutures. It isn’t as involved as the under eye surgery and I was only mildly sedated through the treatment, which took only about 30 minutes. Afterwards, the swelling and bruising were minimal and mostly gone within a week. The results are fantastic and my under eye skin now looks like someone half my age. (I am 51) I highly recommend Dr. T for her skill and artistic abilities. She has a keen eye for detail and a gentle touch. Her staff is very pleasant and professional. I can’t say enough about how comfortable they make you feel with any procedure you are considering.
