It took me sometime to actually get some courage...
It took me sometime to actually get some courage and proceed with my BBL. I had heard about Dr. Bruno from close friends and looked into him on realself and yelp. I found everyone talking wonders about him. I did some research online of other doctors, but I decided to have a consulatation with him. I came in to see him in October of 2014 and he was great! He explained everything carefully and never felt pressured. He told exactly what he was going to do based on what I had asked for. He was very "down to earth" like everyone states. He made me feel very comfortable and most importantly I felt I could totally trust him for my procedure. I went ahead and booked my surgery for December 2014.
I was scheduled to arrive at the surgery center at 6am the morning of 12/16/14. I was excited yet nervous and anxious at the same time. It felt like an eternity waiting in the waiting area before I was taken back. My nurse (jessica) was awesome and my IV was a piece of cake. Once Dr. Bruno came in to take some pictures it felt like Wow!! this is really happening. Like usual his soothing voice calms you down and he reassured everything will go smooth. I got into the bed in the OR and remember the Anesthesiologist telling me to think about a beautiful place and I was OUT. Next thing I knew I was in recovery room shivering and asking if I could turn on my side. I had no pain I was just extremely cold but after about an hour it was gone. My nurse dressed me up and put me on a wheelchair to take me to my car. I just felt heavy and stiff around my butt area, but no pain. I can say this procedure is just very uncomfortable. Dr. Bruno was able to get 410 cc on each butt cheek and he was very surprised as I am petite. I weighed 121lb before surgery. Being in the car laying on my stomach was not fun. I came in to see Dr. Bruno the next day and that was a mission as my husband had to pull me off the backseat very slowly because I felt sore around my abdominal area. I had bruising under the breast area and on my love handles. It looke perty ugly but it healed quick.
It's been 4 months since my surgery and I love the outcome at first I felt as my butt was just to big but it looks great now. It looks natural and well proportioned. I am extremely happy with Dr. Bruno and would recommend him to my family or anyone interested in a BBL. He calls you the same day of surgery and he is available to contact at anytime if needed. You will be in the best hands ever. His staff is also amazing and very welcoming. I am ready for round 2...breast augmentation :)
