“Zeltiq One Month Ago - YES!! It's Working - Wellesley, MA”

I had Zeltiq exactly one month ago on flanks andlower abdomen with standard size applicator. I am a 42 yo female with 3 kids including twins. I am very active but exercising 5-6 days a week and training for 1/2 marathons was never going to remove the stubborn fat that accumulated after having kids. I am 5'9" and weigh 148 lbs.

The procedure itself was no big deal at all, yes it was cold at first and the suction was intense was a few minutes but I just pulled out an ipad and relaxed. I even took a snooze! I was not massaged after treatment as other people described and can't imagine a physiologic reason that would be done after treatment. Maybe that is center dependent - not clinically studied.

Immediately afterwards,I had bruising on the flanks but none on abdomen. I felt fine. I went to all my usual exercise classes the rest of the week including a very difficult pilates core class the next day. I felt like I had had a tough workout the day before but it did not interfere with my regular activities. I did have minor reduced sensation in the treated areas for about a week but it was not bothersome.

I am now exactly 1 month out. After fretting for a month that I had just wasted money I am now seeing good results! I was told to expect 50% of results at 2 months with full effect in 4 months - if this trend keeps up I will be beyond THRILLED! I have lost NO weight on the scale but am wearing my size 8 pants instead of 10s because my waistline is smaller already. I definitely seeing a reduction in the muffin top area - a much better and youthful contour.

The clinical data shows a 22% reduction in fat to the treated area. I wasn't sure if this would be meaningful but consider what you look in your personal best posture after working out 5 days a week for 2 months - that is my experience at this point. And THAT really is clinically and psychologically significant!!

My expectations were reasonable, I am a good candidate and I am DELIGHTED with Zetiq
