LOVE my New Nose! Better Than I Expected. Wayne, PA

Hi everyone! So I had Dr. Pontell send me my before photos since I didn't have any side profile pictures of my own (for obvious reasons lol) here are my results so far. I almost forgot how my profile used to look. I love that I still look like myself from the front, and surprisingly no one has noticed except for some friends and family that knew about my surgery. I still have tip swelling and some asymmetric swelling on the right side (left side in photos) but I am soo happy. Can't wait to see the final result :)

My story is a lot like everyone else on here. Hated my nose my whole life. My father had a rhinoplasty when I was about 5 years old, so it always seemed like something I would do one day when I could pay for it on my own. I am now 8 days post op and I feel great. Although I am still very swollen, my nose looks like the nose I should have been born with. Whenever I used to see my side profile, it never made sense to me because it was not what I saw when I looked directly into the mirror or when I posed for photos. I felt like I was being deceiving in photos since I would never post a photo from the side and always knew how to hide it the best that I could. I never wanted to be that girl that looks different in photos than in real life. It was interesting to read some of these stories and see how similar a lot of us are. The fear of stopping at red lights and having people view you from the side was so real and it was comforting to hear that I was not the only one with these thoughts. I want to post a before and after, but literally have 0 photos of how my profile used to look. I'm also paranoid of someone I know seeing me on here since only a few of my close friends and family know. If you really want to see, I will try to find something and email you personally since this site has helped me a lot and I would love to help someone else through their journey. I am so glad I went with Dr. Pontell and can't wait to see my final results!
